IT knowledge advancement… Stagnant/DEAD

Experienced the same Internet problem again yesterday and this time round, I’ve decided to try the method I did on last Friday night that surprisingly restored my Internet connection – unplug the cables and plugging them back.

Well, sad to say it didn’t work this time and I’ve decided to call the “suicidal hotline” that BIL calmly sms-ed to this drama mama me the first time when I went all irritable and anxious about the problem.

I am very thankful and glad that the helpdesk’s personnel who attended to me were very patient in explaining the procedures in restoring my Internet connection.

But I think I’ve made a fool of myself when she asked about my Modem model, IP address, Login password, and the steps she directed me like “go to start, run and key xxxxx” and “paste xxxxx on internet address box”.

I was like, “erm.. where to find this and that information”, “where’s the ‘run’ icon?” and “where’s the box?”.

It’s only after the conversation that I realized I’ve made a complete fool of myself! ~.~

“Ma’am, there’s no run icon and you can see it at where where where after you pressed your ‘start’ button at the toolbar you see on your PC”…

“Ma’am, you can’t see a box on your desktop screen, you have to go to the Internet Explorer and type on the address bar where you always type ‘www.’”…

*digs a hole*

Internet down!

I hate it when I experience IT problems!

Internet was down last night and I am so lost! Tried restarting my Netbook, modem, wireless connection and called friends for help.

Thanks all especially Yannie! Internet’s still down after we spoke but at least he have kind of “comforted” me. I appreciate that and the morning concerns from you and I apologise for interrupting your date with your girlfriend, but no bargaining of treats from me! =x

Shall see whether it’s working tonight~

Sigh…. I simply can't live without the Internet now!

Pilate ah!

My aerobics instructor is also my Pilate instructor! Such a coincidence~
It’s not a bad thing to go for Pilate lesson after experiencing muscle aches all over.
It was fun going for Pilate, stretching your body and having giggles throughout.
Most of the students there have been going for Pilate lessons for as long as 5 years! And they are so flexible with their body! This is so impressive!

[Some of the positions that I have yet to perform quite successfully~]

Just for thought~

As I’m on idle mode most of the time, I have been thinking and reflecting a lot lately.
It’s inevitable that one’s personality and beliefs changes as you grow together with the change in your environment and many more~

I have always been wondering whether there’s anyone around me that truly understands and accepts me for being who I am. (Conclusion: I do have!☺) This means I need not be a “clown” or an entertaining character in my life.

I will at times feel inferior of my views and the things I do. Somehow, it’s like a feeling of you’re always in the wrong, and others are always in the right. Your views makes no senses at all and it’s simply unacceptable and not worth the time pondering or even listening.

It’s partly because of these that at many times withdraw me from sharing my thoughts or even speaking. I actually do feel tired when all I get are negative responses or ignorance.

But surely I don’t have to change myself and my views, in order for people to accept me right? So what if I’ve changed my beliefs blah blah? People do change and people around you have the options of whether or not to accept you and this includes accepting your changes.

You don’t have to feel uncomfortable with statements like “You’re a changed person now~” (erm, this does not applies to changes that brings torment to yourself, your family and the law etc). It’s you and you have to be proud and accept it graciously.

Anyway, that’s just some of my thoughts, not trying to have a debating session here~ =x

Physically exhausted!

Only the first lesson and I’m groaning in pain~

Aerobics was fun with the instructor, despite of the noisy aunties (that EXCLUDES me)~ =x

We had a long 1.5hr non-stop work out and it's sure worth the money!

There are a few steps that I’m not quite familiar with, and my mom, being a professional dancer was so eager to teach me even when she’s down with flu and cough. Ha!

Was aching everywhere so much that I don’t even have the energy to toss and turn in bed!

It’s gonna be Pilate lesson this coming Saturday! Woooooosh!
