It's Coming!!

Things just come suddenly when you're going on long leave; think I'm getting more daring or rather, a "who cares?" attitude in me now that I can reply my Designated Director "I'm not XXX's RO" when she told me "as a RO, you should blah blah blah..." I mean, the staff is old enough and already have their own and almost impossible to change/improve mindset and attitude, who are you as a junior in age, one who earn much lesser life experiences than them to pin point his/her working habit? It is already good enough that those who holds a higher ranking tried advising things in an indirect, yet quite obvious way at times. A leopard doesn't changes its spots not until it die~~

Anyways, it's all over and I'm opening my arms to the land of thousand smiles in 11 hours time!! WOOoHOo!

Luggage's packed and it's only 3/8 filled. Going light and coming back heavy is the way! =D

Slacking....

I'm officially slacking today. Just the perfect day to do so when my day started off with the thoughts of not going to work, and the day when I'm sheduled to shift office.

Everything was done smoothly and settled down in my room at the new office block at T10 at around 11am and I am so darn exhausted even though we've got movers to help.

System is down for the rest of the month and so a perfect period for holidays and some catching up working to do. Just so happened that I've received a complaint case from a supplier days ago and I will be meeting the Principal for some explanations. No, the supplier did not complain about my service, but rather the payment service in the School. Screw the new IM Procurement Procedures for "creating" more troubles and pressure for the workers. I should have gone to a private sector instead.

No time for regrets; I love my new workstation now. Though it's only temporary, but I simply love it! I love the cosy and organised desk I've got. So I shall "enjoy" my stay working in this temporary office for these 3 months till the new office is up. =D

Thanks to my family, friends, colleagues & instructor for those lovely wishes and events!! I loved it and totally enjoyed my birthday this year as well!

Started the pre-celebration with my Jie Meis just days ago KTV-ing like I've never done so and later receiving gifts and surprises from my family and my dear Jan! Surprised me with a "branded" cake before our Hip Hop lesson. And I am feeling SO guilty gulping the WHOLE cake at once for supper.

Then the actual day of my birthday started with some morning exercise, 90-mins ZUMBA Party!! WOOHOO!! I'm draining with 3 days dancing in a row (Hip Hop, Zumba & Zumba again!) but I'm loving it! ~~~~^3^

The calories shed were replaced immediately with some cheesy chicky & egg tarts from KFC. And that's when the surprise came!

T: Denise (took a green card out), actually... Mel & I.. It started only recently and decision was made to.. invite you to our wedding dinner. And here's the wedding card.

M: Wah piangs! I knew this wouldn't work on Denise lor! Lousy Auntie pls~~~
T: WHAHAHAHAHA!!! Just as I expected! Haiyoh!!

Story of Turtle Cake

(Mezzo Melz went into many cake shops trying to find a cake with a turtle head, but couldn't find any so... something caught his eyes when he bypass one of the mama toy shops around the neighbourhood)
A: (seeing M keep staring at those adorable turtles) My turtles very quite hor?
M: Auntie can I have those?
A: Ok
(Mezzo Melz later came into one bakery and saw a chiffon cake)
M: Auntie, can you spread some blueberry jam on the cake?
A: Cannot~ We don't do this additional stuff
M: Well, why not you just treat it as I want a blueberry waffle, but you don't sell the waffle to me, I only need you to spread the jam on this chiffon cake but I'll pay you the price of both the cake & the waffle
A: Cannot~

A: Okay lah.

World’s Skinniest House

This house is so damn cool, but I think I will have trouble moving around in the house (assuming living alone) if this concept is ever going to be adopted in Singapore.
