Myth about the leap year - women can propose marriage or request(s) from a man, and the man can not reject.

生、老、病、死
一个大家都会经历的过程。
人的一生，为什么会过得如此？
我不了解。
我只知道，只要一个人的人生过的冲刺，无遗憾，
那，就没什么好牵挂与悲哀了吧？
失去身边最亲的人虽痛苦，虽舍不得，虽难过，
但你又能做什么呢？

我自知，我是一个容易被“感染”的人。
知道我的好友有困难的时候，我被“感染”了。

Sick again..
Im sick again.
I believe its not due to the food i ate during CNY. Coz frankily speaking, i ate very little of the cookies and chocolates compared to my usual indulge in heaty pineapple tarts. The only thing that i ate a lot was real food - my mama's cooking.
Have been "blaming" baka for passing me the virus that day when we went Lo Hei with the HR dept, Ms See, our team and David. Sorry baka! I didnt mean to. I juz wanna tease you. Whaha! That day, we (baka and me) shared a piece of preserved dried mango, really those you one bite, i one bite kind. And that night, my cough return.
My cough was those irritable cough. No flam but you'll feel the itch and will cough out uncontrollably. Also had those blood clots when i sneeze. Went to see doctor on Fri. Doctor say i have nose-inflammation and Bronchitis. Sounds deadly to me.
Papa said bronchitis is something to do with my lungs. In that i have weak lungs, and if condition worsen, will lead to asthma. And doctor said nose-inflammation is coz i have sensitive nose, and any serious germs or dirt that i breathe in will cause infection to my nose. =(
During the consultation with doctor, i asked him a very silly question "When will i recover?" and he looked at me with those (=.=") eyes and replied "I really hope i can tell you you'll recover by noon, but my 6th sense is poor, etc." Ok, well, i always ask silly questions so.. just another thing to add on my list. Whaha!
BUT.. i still cant resist the temptation of good food and FREE food! Whahah! Went for my last lo-hei for the year, invitaiton from our new security manager Mr Sng at Pearl River Restaurant. The food was great!!! Had sharks fin, prawn, fish, chicken, sea cucumber etc. And we got people serving the food to us, i mean, we dont have to go through the hassle of digging the food from the spinning table. The food was properly sliced, portioned and served infront of us! Ok.. I think im a little song here, coz i was simply amused by the serving thing when i told baka, and baka just replied me "Its now the same for every restaurant and even wedding banquet".. Erm.. HA ha.
A Sick man is still a Living man. I gonna continue mugging for my Small Biz Test.. Ta-Ta!

Sleepy Day
Yawwnnzzz.. Have not been sleeping well yesterday night. Kept coughing and coughing. =( But felt much better today. At least not so much of those irritating itchy coughs. I was trying very hard to control them.
Went lunch with Baka and Aileen. Din feel like joining the 3-8, my boss and chingu to far east.. Coz i kinda feel out of place among them. Just don feel like "entertaining". So nice luncheon with Aileen!! Haven been seeing her since she left which was like Oct last yr? Haha! She told me about her being cheated in her present workplace. Haiz.. Just so hope that she'd stayed in FDI than her present job.. Although both is sucky, at least she have her small "mei nus" and her QQ Ball with her. Haha!
Oh.. Thanks Japie for his birthday doughnuts! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAPIE. Haha.. Japie is one cute senior manager in the office. Not only his figure is cute, the way he talk is cute too. He's like those typical nice grandpa you see in sitcoms. Haha! He's one blur fellow too who always mistake me as baka and vice-versa. Whaha!
Doughnouts was not tt nice. Its from Munchy doughnuts, and i ate the cheese flavour. I should have eaten the oreo one. Oreo's much much nicer. (><) Tt oreo was eaten by the temp-staff.. But i don mind.. Coz the temp is cute-looking, tall, nice build, sunny boi. Whaha! But i think he's younger than me? Maybe still in his poly days? Hahah!

Whoosh!
Well well.. Hohohoho!! My IOB Individual assignment finally DONE!! Im sooo happy! Though i have 2 tests and 4 more projects coming up, trust me, with my powerful time management skills, i believe i can finish them on time! Whoosh!

Unfortunes
On Valentines' Day the lonely me passed the day with many unfortunes.
(1) Board on bus 77 on my way to work with a faulty card machine, had to go TransIsitlink office for a refund of bus fee.
(2) I knocked my head hardly on the ceiling of the bus, while going down the bus (this has never happened to me since i have such a "perfect" height!
(3) Stepped on a person's bag string and nearly slipped!
(4) Kana knocked by Sushan's BIG bottle filled with water on my knees (never happened too!)
(5) Kana shoot by my 3-8 colleague (will explain in detail later)
(6) Ate toooo much at a buffet lunch making my stomach super super uncomfortable!
(7) "Fractured" my poor 4th finger!!
Well, basically, these are all small events that might happen even on normal days, but the thinking that today is Valentines Day and im without a valentine make these small happenings seem "unlucky" to me. (=.=")
Ok.. about the #5 sway thing, I was super duper extra busy that morning coz there's some timesheet disputes from year 2007 and i have to find out every timesheet from every week and amend those affecting weeks. Moreover, i have yet to do my offshore timesheet templates that add up to total 37 templates to finish up my work for today! Den that stupid 38 colleague going on to 39.. She came to me juz after i rejected Ms See to help her with some stuff, asking me whether i have time to spare to help her with some formatting work. Well, since i've rejected Ms See, i cant accept her request, and I HAVE LARGE AMT OF WORK ON HAND!! Den she stared at me, telling me "baka..不要骗我哦~~我知道你在做什么的哦~~" and she laughed it off with her disgusting "WhohOhOhO" (=.=")
Com'on la. Those who know me enough will know, im more than happy to help when im FREE lo. And since i've rejected helping her = LIM SHUIN DEE IS REALLY BUSY~!! And... now come to think of it, if she don trust my reply to her, thinking that i lied to her, den what for ask me whether im free in the first place? If she think im tt free, she can juz throw me work to do lo. STUPID~!!

Now regarding my "fractured" finger, well, actually i cut myself accidentally on a very difficult-to-paste-plaster spot. So my chingu cut the plaster in half and "designed" my finger to this:

2月14日 - 情人节
这一天，我在街上看到了喜，怒，哀，乐。
有人开心，因为能和自己喜欢的人度过一年一次的西方情人节。
有人欢乐，因为能收到对方精心为你安排和选购的节目与礼物。
有人愤怒，应为突发“状况”而不能和心爱的人度过这一天。
有人悲哀，应为独自一人在这充满了爱的节日里找出穿梭。
我呢？
应该是属于后类的吧？
看到街上的人带着幸福的脸蛋，拿着美丽的礼物（花朵占多）。。
本以为在公司里会找到安慰，
但，接二连三的“接花单”，只是加重了我的寂寞与羡慕。
没关系，
这九年的孤独，我还是过得好好的。
说句老套但表达了多人心中的祝福。。。
祝、有情人终成眷属，单生人早日找到如伊朗军。

Mother = CBG ; Father = Me
This is so funny. I've noticed something yesterday when the family's out temple visiting. On our way to Chinatown (bus 19). Ah bui was telling BIL the days when she bought bus concessions and the process and BIL was super not interested in the topic and kept nodding his head (an indication of "get done with the topic quickly, please."). And again, ah bui's trademark "Wei~~" came out and her trademark face "how can u do that" appear. This was when i realised ah bui and mummy were sooo alike.
Similar to mummy, ah bui love repeating things. Sort of like "long-winded". But one good thing is that ah bui don have the sharp pitch tone of mummy's. Also, ah bui's stubborn like mummy too. But lucky, she still have some space for suggestions. Mummy is totally “是Meh?” “没有啦!” etc. a total shut-down for suggestions. Hmmm.. no wonder mummy dote ah bui sooo much la. Only accept what ah bui say. And ah bui always entertain mummy. Always response to mummy's repetition of words.
So poor thing to papa. Nvm, lucky papa got me. Whaha! We're in the same line. Although papa's same as mummy, long-winded. But he dont repeat things! He tell you in detail. Whaha! And me and papa have the same response (i.e. Total ignorance / Total silence when mummy start). Hi-5~!
Words for ah bui: Please please dote on papa more la. Give him some attention. The more you shower your love and care for mummy, the worst is our situation when u're not around.

HaPpy ChiNeSe NeW YeaR
大家~！新年快乐！希望大家有永恒的快乐，数不完的钞票，最重要的是有强壮的身子！把那些所有在猪年不愉快的烦恼给抛在脑后，往前看，乐观一点！
Happy new year to all! Wishing you all happiness, health, wealth and eternal charm all year long! Put behind all the unhappy memoirs in the previous year, and may all my wishes and you resolutions be fulfilled in the year of Rat!
Yesterday Ah pang went to my house as stated. We've chatted a lot. The longest face-to-face chat since the years when we last met sole-ly. The feeling is soooo great. It seemed like we've returned to our seconday sch days, 2 studious and nerdy gals talking about BGR. Whaha! Only that now we're more sensible in our perceptions 2wards BGR. What a great day to start a fresh year!
Today was a total relaxing day! I woke up in the noon, ate my lunch, read thru my research books, went swimming, watched 100% ent and CBG & BIL came over for reunion dinner. Ate the Koi fish pudding that Ms See gave. Nice! Dono why mina say its OK only. She should have given me d remaining portion ma. Haha!
Got a unexpected call yesterday & today! Yesterday Mr Soo called, but too bad la, my mobile running out of batt, so had to ret him call when im done with my napping. Who knows, he's oso napping when i called him. (=.="). Mr Soo is really a unexpected call. Coz we only SMS n MSN, but no phone chat. Haha! But ok la. Juz another phone-chatting mate to my list. Hohoho~ Today Mr Yeo finally called ever since the last call which was months ago? Whaha! Well, not so unexpected too la. Nothing's ever changed. We still chatted anything that came across our mind. Whaha! Its good that we NEVER have any bridge between us, juz that sometime find him quite disgusting la. Whahah!! Yeo man! Eternal friendship! Whaha!
At this very minute, im listening to Lin You Jia's 背影 sent by Ben Dan. A very nice song. Im kinda absorbed by it. Suddenly thot of a lot of 6yrs issue. All the nice memoirs. Dono why i always think of the 6yrs thing on basically every CNY. (=.=")
Anyway, P.S. to all the sec pals who's going to Mrs Soh's hse this coming sat, Im not going. Sorry. Coz of my personal reason. Haha! Have fun and enjoy~!

Sick of Work
Im sooo soooo sooo sick of work...
Beginning to feel im so extra in the work place. Coming in only 3 days a week make my presence so insignificant. Converting to a perm position is kinda difficult for me i think. Gotta start browsing the Saturday papers.
People in the workplace are sooo fake and inconsiderate. Doing other people's job but credit doesnt go to me. Minor sickness that i personally feel fit to work, but was condemned and quarrantined as "SARS" patient by others. Topics to be shared and discussed with the team ended up its like a dispersed field of wild flowers. Pardon me my friends working with me, let me nag this time ba.
Well, its being the same all these while. But what tempered me to write this entry is the non-sympathy from my dear friends. Well, i understand that new year's around the corner, people doesnt wan to fall sick during this festive season. But. Cant anyone show some sympathy to the sick? Without any words of "take care" all they do was give you an arm's length sign, shoving you off, telling you to stay 10m away from you. How do you like this feeling?
Slight cough = you pass me the disease. All pointing fingers at you. Think wisely, how many germs are we contacting with daily? How's the climate and environment now? Maybe you guys are just kidding. But please spare a thot for other's feeling.

(3) Get over with that 6yr thing.
(4) More money money money
(5) More travelling = more freedom = Lesser white lies

Juz a quick update of my doings for the past days..
- Went NLB for research
- Went searching for Liesl's pressie
- Went Chinatown Q for Bakkwa & misc
- Went trim my eyebrow
- Went shopping with mummy for CNY goodies
I am sooooo not in the mood for new year!! No craving for any ang baos, house-visits etc!! This yr gonna be a little different. CBG and BIL is not coming over for reunion on the CNY eve. Instead, they'll be here for i think CNY day 1? Ah Pang, as usual, the 1st of my friends to receive ang bao from my parents.. whaha! Coz she's coming over on CNY eve. For the past yrs, New year is a continuous 3 days of relieve from books etc. This time, i have to rush my assignment which is due on 23th feb~! Ok.. u peeps might say its still early what. But.. I don't have much time to spare due to my work, schs, & another upcoming test on 28th feb! and other 4 assignments all due-ing on march!! ARgghh~!!
Tt Ben dan & ah chang have been pestering me to watch tt kung fu bball on CNY. Kaoz! thou im interested in bball. But looking @ the preview.. eeeewww.. tt jay sooo ugly! (=X) really is 丑Jie lun la. Oopsy. Sorry la guys, those who know me enough should know i kinda dislike him la hor. But.. I don dislike his songs. So. can off-set rite? whaha! So pun-ne lo! They wan me acc them watch bball, nobody wan acc me watch L's last 23 days movie. (=.=") Nvm. I don think i have the time too. Think i shall wait for the DVD to come out, den maybe can psycho CBG buy. Hohohoho~~
To Lili & Jiaying or whoever who know Janice Lim Shu Hui:
Frog has deformed into tadpole! Janice appeared infront of me today with her newly cut short hair! Well, i already know she'll be cutting short her hair coz she said she's doing so on fri, and she even asked us for suggestions of which hair style suits her more (with a page of ALL same same but different hairstyles). But, since we all nv see her in short hair b4, other than her super duper funny and hilarous toot hairstyle we saw in her seconday photos, ITS REALLY A SHOCK SEEING HER HAIR! I tell u ah li, if u see her hair, u sure to have 71 WHAHAHAHAHA!!
Ok la.. her hairstyle is not that bad, juz that her longer one makes her more femine. This shorter one, 1st look, abit OBS & toot (even tooter than me lo) 2nd look, gosh. TADPOLE. and i basically LOL and giggle over it when i recall her short-hair look lo. Wahahah!
P.S. Janice: Bu hao yi si la. You also laughed at my "shorter" eyebrow ma. Whaha! K.. we're quits ah! the most i let u pinch awhile on mon lo. Kekekekezz!!
