婚宴成功、圆满地结束了！

新娘的创意、新郎的配合，是到昨晚的宴席顺顺利利的度过。

看着新娘开心的戴上头纱，我也开心。

看着新郎时时刻刻，小心翼翼的照顾新娘，我欣慰。

认识8年的他们，终于结婚了！

兄弟们实在是风度翩翩的人士，对姐妹们简直是贴心到无微不至。

朋友的参与与协助，让这晚的气氛更光彩。

看到贝比虽累，但还是时时刻刻带着微笑。

幸福哦！贝比！

A Day filled L♥O♥V♥E~!

The sisters laughed and worked hard overnight for the big day. In a few hours time, my lovely twins will be changing her status officially to 'married'. I am excited, I am happy! No matter how lethargic I am, I will push myself to the limit, just to see her smile throughout the day and of course, the rest of her life.

The car honked loudly with cheers in the morning at 7:30am. Brothers armed with blue roses and presents, came up with the groom. Trying to bribe us? Nah nah nah~ not so easy guys! *smirks* A little hiccup with game 2, and its red packet time!! Very cute to have notes of different currencies, but the sisters were persistent! SIN Dollars brothers!

Groom had a little embarrassment when he begged to enter the “faulty” door. Thinking it was locked. Good! Sincerity shown! This made my lovely twins smiled. ♥

The evening’s here! Time again to get into your role, and take the final push for the day! First time as a wedding coordinator and it was an awesome experience; working with the other coordinators, nanny, videographer, photographer, make-up artist, flower girls, emcees, AV guy, as well as the banquet manager. Special thanks to Jane for guiding me through, I wouldn’t know what to do without you!! Thanks Jean (nanny) for reminding me to call the up the important parties.

Solemnization time and I feel like crying when both of them kissed and put on the rings. No words of “I Love You” from my twins, but “Please take care of me”. That’s the way babe! Saying words that are more realistic and meaningful; I’m proud to say, she is my clever sister!

Next place to rush, the wedding hall! Final check on the displays in the banquet hall, entertained our common friends, final check with the AV guy (eating at the cocktail~) and here comes their childhood montage… Proposal montage… and Morning montage.

The night is still young! Stood throughout with the couple and giving my twins a final hug before they leave for their rest in the romantic suite, while I accompany my DEAR Lion & Ah Bang for some HK milk tea as we chatted over the midnight.

Happy Marriage and happy walking down the rest of your life hand-in-hand with Alan for a blissful future!! Remember, Omma love you always!

P.S. May the myth of the girl who caught the hand bouquet is the next to the marriage hood come through! *winks*

A "life" threatening week...

Guessed the most happening news for the week is the news of a young SP lecturer who passed away shortly after collapsing in front of her students in school one day (http://sg.news.yahoo.com/polytechnic-lecturer-dies-after-collapsing-at-school.html). I was still in shocked when Brother Foo told me about this piece of news and Uncle Richard started showing me the biography (all SP staff must have in the intranet) of this lecturer.

One of the comments in Yahoo News that astound me was the comment from a former SP staff that says "SP lecturers' job is very stressful. I worked two years there and I know it. I am not surprised someone died of overwork. Students are taken care of, but not teachers." This is totally true.

I still remember what the Principal mentioned at our recent staff rally "Students are our priority, Staff are our assets..".

And the next day after the news, I got gastric pain from a LONG meeting. And this was so embarrassing as my Director saw me crying in pain from it. Guess my lifestyle is in a mess recently, with so many things (work and personal) to handle.

Anyways, time is passing real fast. So fast that my dear Jan is getting married come Monday! Hopefully all will go well, as the day's gonna be real long for all of us. Luckily I'm still able to fit in the bridesmaid's dress despite all the junk food at irregular timings the past weeks. Not a single weight gained, but sure I'm feeling more fats than muscles at this point of time. =x

Office shifting is around the corner (when I'm on leave~). And I am glad that I've helpful colleague aka partner, Ms Not-So-A-Princess Tan to help move my boxes. I'm sure gonna miss this temporary office as these short 3-4 months had been months filled with laughter and stronger bonding with the colleagues. =D

Soon, it'll be month-end and I'll be travelling again! Whooohooo! It's gonna be my last trip for 2011 and 1st for 2012! Time for my backpack to see the sunshine again!! And I am having cheeky thoughts. If only I manage to borrow aaluoos's DSLR~ ♥

Crazy Screaming Day!!

This was how the plan goes...

Worked together with Alan to get help find out Jan's schedule on the Hens night that was supposed to be cancelled due to many unavailability. However, the ladies that were able to make it decided to go with the Hens night without Jan's knowing and even decided to give her a surprise. So we took the risk and bought USS tickets for the day. Initially we wanted to surprise her at her place in the early morning, but my heart nearly sank when Alan told me Jan had facial appointment in the day and is only free to meet me (we were suppose to go exercise) in the afternoon. Nevertheless, we managed to surprise her in the afternoon after her facial!!

So funny lah! I was suppose to meet her at Holland V and go exercise with Jan in the afternoon. When Jan saw me without my sports barangs, she did had some mini question marks on her head. But I lied to her that my barangs are on my friend's car and my friend will be sending us to our exercise venue. She actually believed!!! My Gosh!! Luckily I have someone that she can relate to and kept asking me our progress on the way to the "surprise" venue. But when I brought her to the MRT station, and when she saw the girls, she was shocked and hit me many times!! Hahahah! This is her reaction to a surprise~ =x

And so the day goes with the many screams on the rides, laughter, photo-takings, getting wet in the rain, and the highlight of the day, beautiful fireworks!!! =D

Thanks to Alan for being the spy, Els for the suggestion to go USS, Mel for the surprise join, Jas for the compromise despite feeling sick, Liesl for being the first for the day (she's usually late for all of our gatherings~) and aaluoos who was being mistaken as the "driver".

Happy Birthday aaluoos!

It's aaluoos's 26th Birthday and he's flying off to Egypt, alone on a mysterious exploration trip.

Worries, worries and more worries...

He must be crazy doing this alone when it's still chaotic there and I must be crazy spending his birthday with him at Changi Airport Terminal 2 at 12:10am.

We celebrated the birthday skyline-ing from T2 to T3 and exploring the whole of T3 to realise that it's actually a HUGE terminal. That's not the end. After having 2 heavy dinners for him and 1 heavy dinner myself with dear Toby He, I was forced to gulp down 6 pieces of nuggets while he happily indulge in his 3rd dinner, McChicken meal~ I'm gonna make him responsible for the additional weight and fats I put on in future!

In time to pass him the simple Birthday card I spent one night designing and drafting. Wanted to pass it to him outside the immigration point but the stubborn him insisted seeing me up the taxi before he leave in "peace". That's so the days when we "put down the phone lah, no.. after you. No! After you!". =D

Starting to miss his nonsenses, I shall enjoy my bridesmaid-ing period in December and wait for his return! I'm sure he's gonna go through these 30 days and come back with a surprise, safely, satisfied and full of stories to share!! ♥

那些年，我们一起追的女孩

看了这部电影后,年少时的画面一个接一个地浮现.仿佛就是昨天似的.那回忆还那么的深刻,珍贵.

「每一个成长的回忆,都有一位小胖..」 这我非常的赞成.而那小胖(撇开本人不提)就是我们的昌哥,我的"干弟".就我俩的故事,就是一个幼稚和开心的.还记得我俩从对彼此都看不顺眼彼此,因为爱情"纠纷",因为争"高材生"的排行榜,到有什么就说什么的好朋友.这段和他的故事,我想就够我写一本书了.

更不用提的是「那些年」在我生命中的两位"恋人".所谓的"恋"指的是我暗恋的人.

回想起和他们经历的事和当时的感觉.嗯,感觉还是单纯,甜美的.虽然伤感,痛苦的时刻曾发生过,但那何尝不是一件好事?人生中,不就是要尽情的享受种种事与情务吗?开心,知足的是,他们仅成为了我生命中不可缺少的人.没有人比他更了解我.没有人比他更与我和排.没有人能取代他们..是他们,让我过得像「那些年」一样的小孩子气,直到现在.他们简直是宠坏我了!:)

当然,「那些年」的故事不只环绕着"他"们.还有一个"她"在我的「那些年」印上美丽的脚印.和她简直是一起长大.像我的家人一样,每年年初不可缺少的"团圆"成员之一.和她,就是那么的简单.从小到大,最开心和她的时光就是随随便便在一个不许花钱的地方,在众人面前谈上个大半天.

真得很安慰,我有这么一个美好的「那些年」.

而「那些年」已成为了「这些年」....

"Why blog still at this age?" This was a casual statement that my friend made, with a mindset that blogging is something that a person of our age won't do. Well, so it's the same as to "why club at this age?". I don't mean rude to not reply over a statement made with different perceptions. After all, we're mature enough to know what we enjoy and the thing about 'following blindly'.

Seems like the topic around me lately is "Wedding". Yes yes, when am I going to have a wedding of my own? Nah~ If I can only be the one making the decision, I will say "no" to wedding dinner, customs and everything. It's too much a hassle for all the preparations. Just a simple ROM (it's a must what~) and probably if need be, a simple meal with some close friends and my family. Yes, just like my Sis's. But first of all, let me enjoy the dating and loving process first. :x

Time flies, it's been over a year since I left my "home" in Tanjong Pagar. Everytime I pass-by PSA and saw the PIL containers there, I will tell my colleagues about my "home". They must be feeling my happiness and misses when I told them "I'm on leave tomorrow and I'm visiting my home!!". The feeling is so nice and warm when people that marked their footprints in your life welcome you with a warm hug and genuine smile every time you visit. =) I love and miss dearly all my friends, Godpas & Godmas! It's great to be talking to them without any awkwardness after so long and gosh, I can't believe I'm already thinking about planning my next visit back there!

Christmas is nearing once again and it's Christmas shopping and DIY period!! Yay! I'm looking forward to the annual PIL Christmas Exchange and I'm proud to say that the organiser this year is Ms Toby He!! Can't believe this is the 4th Christmas Exchange and the oldies are still staying in full-force! Looking forward to celebrating the occassion with Ah Bui, Alice, Baby, Mezzo Melz and Toby He!! and.... I already got an idea......... (to be revealed in 13th Dec 2011).

No matter how much you

got pissed and frustrated over a MCP consultant;
dislike some colleagues that just can't seem to have a clear mind;
dread wrecking your brain for some improvisation of the system;
hate to work overtime and bringing stuff home to work on;
sometimes get irritated over the notification sounds from watsapp;
just want to snooze on the cozy bed, under the cooling weather the whole day but you're being nagged to do something;

misses that someone but have to control your fingers from pressing the number pad;
unknowingly smile to yourself over some "irritating" yet sweet messages;
laughed out real loud reading the email conversations;
got shocked and laughed at your stupidity over a hopping spider;
get all high and cranky over "shit rearing stimulator" apps;

Life goes on.

After all.... "they are all the unbalanced emotions having a fun time, playing.".

Why do rain keeps falling...?

But it ain't stopping me from all the laughing-licious outings!!

Gathering with the couples (Ah Pang & Hubby)(Mr Yeo & Girlfriend) started off awkwardly when I brought along my "date" for the date, Mr Aaluoos Tan. It became more relaxing when my another "date", Long Ge came to join us for about an hour. We had lunch, movie, and chilling with some Ice Cold Beer. Taiwan trip was suggested by Ah Pang & Hubby, but who can I bring? Hmm....

Another night of laughter and of course, photography session (how will we ever skip this activity when we're together?!) with my dear Mezzo Melz, lovely Toby He and sweetie Baby at AKB48 restaurant. It's a night with the 2 coming birthday kids! Happy Birthday Miss N and Mr 18!! Had a hard time wrecking my creativity brain cells for their same-same-but-different birthday cards. Hopefully they like it (can see Mezzo Melz loved it as he keeps looking at it on our way from the restaurant, 313 for ice cream and our parting bus stop.) ^^ Appreciation felt! =D

"Starbucks" coffee, clean breathe always, lovely kisses, the feel of the hand, beauty bride and it's a cold cold day. These are the title of the games we have plotted for weeks. It was fun looking at how the brothers "escape" from the disgusting games and how sincere the groom was, following the instructions very carefully and completing them without any fouls. Bravo to the groom!!

The Bridesmaids didn't had a wink throughout the night and the short 2 hrs rest before the dinner. Instead, we went to PSA Tanjong Pagar Complex for our bak kut teh lunch. Serves us right for not helping ourselves with the yummy buffets catering at both Grooms and Bride's place.

Before we even realises, time passed extremely quickly and we went for the wedding suite for our makeup and hairdos. I got a shock can?! Never in my life I put on heavy makeup, except for my Poly's prom night. This time, I had fake lashes on and my gosh! My eyes are "BIG"!!.

Some say I look like Korean here. *loves*

I personally felt uncomfortable with my "new" look, but my friends were giving me positive comments. Thank you Ah Pang, Baby, Oppa, Jan, Toby, Aaluoos, Mr Yeo for the simple "NICE"! =D

The night was great having me sit beside Aaluoos. Mr Yeo planned to put me in between BD and Aaluoos but luckily that didn't turned out to be what he'd planned as I might be caught in between the 2 people whom I've loved. Moreoever, both of them does not fancy each other. Arghs.. long long once upon a time story between them~

Anyways, I was indulging in the conversations with Aaluoos and had to trouble the Groom and other Bridesmaid to call me for our tasks in between the dinner. =x Thank you Aaluoos and Long Ge for waiting for me after the dinner for our fruitful heart-to-heart talk on the train ride home.

The Proposal

Twin sisters, had a "same same but different" happenings on the same day.

My lovely Jan finally got the long awaited marriage proposal! Her wedding preparation is a little different from the other couples, no proposal before getting a wedding package, etc. Her hubby-to-be wasn't involved in a lot of decision makings due to his busy and irregular work schedules. Moreover, Jan was told that the shipment of their wedding ring will not be in time for the photo-shoot as it's not ready. So poor Jan was quite dishearten towards their photo-shoot day as things were not going smoothly her way.

Who knows Alan created a sweet and lovely event for Jan on that day! Just the kind of event that Jan have always dreamed of. A romantic and "big" proposal!! Not with the ring pop that Jan bought the day before at Candy Empire, but with a real diamond proposal ring!! Appearing in the middle of Jan's individual photo-shoots with balloons, flowers and the ring, Jan was seriously surprised and was touched.

No, she didn't cry as the usual vain her doesn't want to mess up her beautiful make-up. Whahahaha!!!! So happy for her lah!!

And for me...?

I got a phone call "proposal" from BD.

A proposal to buy me a cup of my favourite bubble tea if I help him check on his 1st assignment after 5 long years. Good job. (-.-)"

No bubble tea for doing the help with him explaining it will be difficult for me to hold the bubble tea while I shop in the boutique as I will be concentrating on the dresses than appreciating his bubble tea. What crap he have there! =x This is not the end when he said the dresses I picked are not nice (of course lah! He didn't even see me in them; he only saw the dress itself~).

Another hectic passed with me breaking down in cold sweat when something "happened" to the new system when I'm running my cheques. So worried that I raised my voice at the consultant (problems occurring one after another for months!).

Finally the schedule and gate-crashing games for Ah Pang's wedding is settled! Wonder how it will turn out on the actual wedding day as all of us are first timers in this. But I'm definitely looking forward to the wedding and the banquet at night! What great friends combination I will be sitting with; the popular girls group in my Secondary School, and the 2 separate clique of guys who have never been on good terms with each other. =)

A day full of events on this relaxing Saturday. No, I did not go for the F1 race this year as Hamilton is not winning and there's no other good performers that I like except for the Korea idol duet, Big Bang. Tried on and bought the dress for my lovely Jan's wedding day and accompanied her for the selection of wedding invitation cards as well as the search for her funky photo-shoot outfit this coming Friday! So fast can?!

Went to support Mezzo Melz for his final round of the competition for 100.3FM DJ and arghzz!! I missed his first round of performance, the 相声 he have been working on with his partner for days! Nevertheless, all the competitors are so powerful! Except for the lady lawyer who kept pulling for votes and the guy who kept saying "emotional" incidents in his every rounds of performance, the others were powerful. Though Mezzo Melz was not the top 3, I counted and I'm proud that he is ranked number 4 for the most number of supporters (aka votes)! Great job Mezzo Melz! ^^

The photos taken at Baby's house is finally ready for viewing! I laughed VERY hardly at these lovely photos and the funny captions! Looking at those photos really brings back the time we spent at her house with the Mario game that made ALL of us 哭笑不得! Wishing for more of such events to come!! =DD

Tuesday was mini gathering and Ah Ball visiting at Baby's house! I miss my Godson SO SO much!! Didn't know time flies that fast, without knowing, we left her place 30 mins to midnight. Baby's house is so cosy lah!! I can really nua at her place the whole day. Of course, with great companions that can laugh, scream and shout together! First-time playing Wii with Mezzo Melz and my gosh!! I've found my screaming partner!! ♥ And what are the rest doing while we were totally engrossed and screaming away? The shithead couple was laughing at us and Rong Mama was busy in her own corner capturing the candid moments~ Hurrrrrrr

Departments' Retreat on Friday, and it was an enjoyable day.
No work, not even thoughts about it; a nice break from the hectic months of system testings.
Love the team bonding session, playing with clay and the most important thing is I had loads of laughter!

Safra Singapore Bay Run & Army Half Marathon 2011

Just when I thought I will not participate in any marathon this year because I've missed this year's GE Run, my colleague Ernie went around psycho-ing colleagues to participate in this Safra Marathon. So.... I went for it.

There were initially 5 participants (including myself) in the Department going for the marathon, but 2 of them didn't have the energy due to personal reasons hence didn't went for the marathon. So it's down to 3 of us, but one of my colleagues ended up at Starbucks in the middle of the race! Lolx!

I had a hard time looking for my Designated Director (yah~ only both of us had the sportsmanship to finish the race in the end) at the resting area as there were SO many runners! The bulk of it from the Army of course~ We were told that the School got a prize for being the winner in the number of participants among the organisations. A little proud at that moment. =x At least I "did" something for the School.

Greatly appreciated friendships

Why do I always get "thank you" in many forms? I am not really used to gratitude but how come the feeling of knowing your simple gestures are greatly appreciated is so wonderful and... great! 

Like the many thanks I've received from Oppa for doing a little help in his studies and the words of appreciation from Mezzo Melz for supporting him in his audition today. A little shy, but it feels good! =D
