Nephew Day - Short Getaway - Christmas

I realized I've not been very active blogging these days, not because I am lazy to do so already but because I've been really busy with stuff that I just want to spend and enjoy my free time whenever possible.

My godson, Ayden is 1 month old! And yes, I have a human godson this time. Yay! He is so adorable and even more with his irresistible smiley dimple. Hearing baby stories about him from my twin really takes the troubles and wrinkles I got from work away. It's the baby-thing huh? I always enjoy listening to Babies stories. :)

Baby Ayden in his 2nd day in this world. Looking so contented and peaceful in his Daddy's arms.

Went out with J after the Baby shower to explore the new mall at Jurong East and the best thing that I could do for him that day was looking for a balloon (even asking strangers) that he kept ranting from the moment we stepped in the mall. It's amazing what you can do for a precious. Hah.

Justin smiling at the camera while waiting for the Mushroom Quiche. Cheeky.

When the PA asked for the leaves plan from the officers, I stared into my calendar for long and can only sadly reply her that I have no plans at that moment. Yes, I know I've been travelling much during mid-year and probably it's my turn to envy the others who are busy getting out of town.... BUT, I still can't say 'no' to even a short-getaway! Even a 2D1N (sounds ridiculous, but who cares?!) trip in Johor excites me!

KSL Hotel & Resort - A really affordable place to stay for the night after a whole day of walking and buys. That's TPL in the background shying away from the Camera. Huuuuu.

This Christmas is (yeah~) another public holiday to me. But I am really glad that I had a stay-home Christmas. A time for me to rejuvenate in my cozy nest. This Christmas, I made some hand-made gifts. For those who got it, hope you like it! Got quite a number of Christmas gifts, and even got myself one on Christmas Eve. Thanks to those who shared the joy this season!

Lovely cosmetic pouch from my colleague who got it from Taiwan. I am going to replace my Naraya cosmetic pouch with this!
Look at the prints inside the pouch!
A gift I got for myself at H&M. Only $7.90!

Handmade socks-man that I learn from a DIY site. Easy to make, but I'm so worried that the ornaments will fall when the glue wears off.

Merry Christmas! ❤

Latin Sunday!

So I met this colleague over an incident about a complex transaction, and miraculously we got to know more about each other. Knowing that both of us have a thing to do with dancing, he introduced me the dance school that he's currently in, Dance En Motion.

I didn't took much notice about this school as I don't really fancy Latin dance, though i enjoy looking at the moves. But, this fine day, I finally gave in to his constant "notice" about the classes and schedules and so, I signed up for the trial class package for Salsa, Bachata and Latin.

As the date got nearer, and of course, I've been doing my research about the moves, I got really excited.

The moment I stepped in the studio; sexy and professional students were dancing to the remix of Latin music, practicing their moves for the shooting at Marina Bay Sands later in the afternoon. I was dumbfounded. They look so elegant and beautiful. My excitement didn't help and I was practically bursting in cold sweat. I was so worried that I look dumb in front of the mirror.

But well, I got a little consolation when most of the participants are first-timers in dancing. So... a little confidence boost for me; at least I had some background in the many different forms of dance I used to learn.

End of the day, Bachata took me away. I had SO much fun in Bachata, partnering with awesome partners, learning and grooving away like nobody's business. Looking at myself in the mirror every now and then when I did the moves with my partner, I can't help but give a big pat on my shoulder, thinking "hey! you can dance fatso!".

The Long Lost Classmate's Wedding Banquet

So I was invited to the Secondary School classmate's wedding banquet at Swissotel The Stamford Singapore last evening and I am grateful for being assigned to the same table with the Brothers.

I know it's painful to hold your pukes, but yeah, a selfie taken before meeting the Brothers.
Always have to take a "perfect" shot before I sweat and get all messy on the journey.

The Brothers have not met for months (the last was in May/June after the Soulmate's night class) and it's a great evening meeting up with them. Many changes in our life, the Brother got himself a new girlfriend and she's such a sweetie; the Soulmate got himself a job after his degree 2 months ago and I am so happy for him to be able to get into a job that he have been looking painfully for.

A shot with the Bride, my ex-classmate and ex-colleague.
From L to R: The Soulmate, The Brother, The Ex-classmate, I.

With the ex-classmates (ladies).

The Ex-Classmates group shot before we leave the Banquet.

The Soulmate and I was trying to source for ideas for the Brother's wedding during the banquet. Like the course of meal, the style of serving the dishes, the music, the MCs, blah blah. Guess there must be a reason why we are the Brothers, we can have all sorts of wild but practical ideas that only us won't find them disgracefully or "low-class" as people might define.

Like playing music that is more towards the POP, sweet, lively and romantic genre; serving dishes like sze-char style. Every dish in one go, satisfying those hungry guests. Or go on a buffet style where the Brother will have to order double set for the Soulmate (always known as the hungry man). Supplies can be cheap as the both of us can sponsor with the music. *smirks*

Till the day arrive.... we shall continue to source for ideas.

Yangon, Myanmar

My friends and colleagues have seen me getting all excited about my first backpacking experience trip in Yangon and have been worried for me, travelling to this protected country with minimal mode of contact. I think it's a challenge especially for me this clean freak.

Waiting for my room to get ready at Mother Land Inn 2, Lower Pazudung Road

The first thing I did when I touched down at the Yangon International Airport was to change some of the US dollar notes that I've got into their currency, Kyatt (pronounced as chyatt). Like what the forums said, they are very strict with the condition of the notes. Wrinkled, old and torn notes are definitely not acceptable. I had a hard time screening through the crisp notes that I have on hand with the locals. After going through the screenings, we proceed to Mother Land Inn 2, a guesthouse that we researched before hand, hoping that there will be room available for us.

God bless us, we managed to get a room and chatted with the friendly service staff and some other Caucasian backpackers. It's really interesting to hear their backpacking journey and to be frank, their stories are really encouraging.

Explored around the inn and located a super store down the corner of the road. A convenient spot indeed despite of the messy and bumpy road. There are no street lights in most streets in Yangon, so it's best to return to the guesthouse before it gets dark.

The backyard of the Houses. Rubbish every where, Stray Dogs every where...

I have always been dependent on my friends or local tour guides whenever I travel free and easy, but this is the very first time I did my homework, studies the map and sort of guided the journey! Feel so proud of myself. So our first destination in Yangon is the Bogyoke Market, a place similar to our Chinatown. If you are looking for cheap Longyis, woodcrafts or jades, this is a place for your.

Bogyoke Market

We went on to the Kan Daw Gyi Lake, a quiet and beautiful place perfect for dating. There's this fine dining restaurant beside the lake and to our surprised, we see dim sums! Though the food doesn't taste authentic, it is not so bad for a not well-developed country. After the tasty lunch, we wanted to be daring and walk down to Bogyoke Aung San Museum. We knew we've failed our challenge when we realized we've been walking round the lake instead of out the lake! With road signs that we totally can't understand, taxi is really the safer option travelling in Yangon. You can try taking the bus if you don't mind the squeezing crowd and locals with bunch of vegetables and cages of chickens in the vehicle, and not to forget, the likelihood that you might get stuck in the middle of your journey for hours with the passengers.

Seaweed Fish Roll, Signature Fine Dining at Kan Daw Gyi Lake

Friendly, pleasant kids at the shops along Shwe Dagon Pagoda

Shwe Dagon Pagoda is really an ancient, with over 2000 years of history. The Pagoda is made of real gold plates and gold offerings from the locals and tourists and kept in the Pagoda. Only the scheduled monks can enter the Pagoda and fix the pagoda when some of the gold plates fell off from the Pagoda. There are 6 gems on the pagoda too, shining so brightly that we can even see it from afar.

Late Evening view of the Shwe Dagon Pagoda

To have a better view of how the locals live in Yangon, we took the Circular Train for a long 3 hours. That was when I felt disturbed at the scenes. The standard of living is really low there, with the villagers living just beside the field and rubbish flying everywhere. Their home are made of straws and you can see some showering in the public, beside the street market with the stray animals. The locals spit anywhere and the sight of them walking bare-footed on the dirty road is really disturbing.

On board the Circular Train for USD1. Foreigners are given tickets for the ride in the Upper Class Cabin. A much more spacious seats for a better view. Standing on the train is prohibited in the Upper Class Cabin.

This Daddy travelled from station to station and picked his girl up through the window. The girl kept waving at us with this blur look of hers when she board the train. Her eyes were shining so brightly that it's a waste not to take a picture of her.

The market along the railway tracks

The experience there is really great, made me appreciate the beautiful country that I am living in, the people there are simple too, a good reflection in my life. But....Another time to Myanmar? I doubt so in the short run....

Mother Land Inn 2 baked me this lovely Birthday Cake, a great surprised in the morning. All the service crew sang the Birthday song and kept wishing me Happy Birthday when they see me in the house. Real heart warming.

What I've been up to?

The other day I was walking along some random street, and this stranger came up to me and asked if I have a blog. And I was like "WHAT?" and he say cos I look familiar like he have seen me on blog, etc. Ok well~ It sounds like a scam to me so I smiled and walked away. I went home thinking that "hmm... someone out there could be reading my blog!" 😁

So here is a little update for the month after leaving it untouched for the whole July!

Life's pretty much the same for me, working... exercising....walking around..... travelling..... loots and more loots! Speaking of travelling, I am SO SO SO excited about the coming 2 or (maybe 3) trips this month! I'll be in Yangon (for those that do not know, it's the capital of Myanmar) in 3 more days and Hong Kong in 10 more days! The Department's retreat is set tentatively on 23rd August; we're going to the neighbouring country this year and that means 3 weeks of continuous travelling! Yay!

I've been really active recently too, with Zumba, Basketball (or Badminton), Kick-Boxing and Zumba again! But like what BIL always say, it doesn't make any difference with the diet that I am adopting now. *oops* Nevertheless, I'm happy enough when my colleagues say I looked different in a good way (even though I still appear to be the "you'll see Denise around when there's food" me) *grins* and when this ultimate PTI aka health freak TKH texted me with this sentence "U should be healthier than most people...." when he asked for a game after his training for IPPT with the interns. THANK YOU guys!

Did I mentioned about the "loots and more loots" in my previous para? I'm actually grinning now cos I really like the stuff that I bought over the months! So here it goes...

I bought this Door Hanger at Japan Home while on the way to Zumba and it was selling at only $1! Have always thought of getting one to hang my bags so that (as a neat freak) I don't need to climb up and down just to keep my bags.

This lovely sweetie (I name it Maddy) is hand-made by my dear Baby and she was selling it at the Purrrrrzar yesterday (FYI, the Purrrrrzar will be on 3 consecutive Saturdays starting from 3rd August) for $6. I love this at first sight cos it was so small, so sweet looking and the pastel rainbow colours (yes! I have a rainbow shorts that that it can match with) add on the thumbs-up it already deserve.

Ok, the focus is on the flowery cushion I got it at Daiso the other time while doing volunteering work with the God Bro. Though I don't really fancy flowers, I realize I do have a soft spot for flowery prints, lace and blah every thing under the category you think it fits.

Now this. 2 nendoroid figurines that cost a total of $85 at the Sundays-Only China Square Central  Flea Market. The nendoroids serves really good as an icon in pictures. The boy look like the Soulmate with the cheeky smirking face (okayyyy I'm in friendship LOVE with my Soulmate) and the girl is simply adorable with her pet that looks like a turtle! <3>

The latest on-line buy is this 2-in-1 "Sweet Glam" lip balm + colour. I don't really like gloss as it made my lips look oily and my hair tends to stick on the gloss on my lips leaving a trace of sticky and oily mark on face when I wipe the hair away. So lip balm is the alternative for a mositurised lips and the plus point of this balm is that it gives my lips a healthier colour. *thumbs up!* (P.S. a little OOTD that caused much "discomfort" to my Sis and Baby~ *bleahs* in the collage)

So of course the above are not the ONLY buys over the months. I've gotten myself jumpers from Bali that cost about SGD21, flora prints quarts and polo-T from UNIQLO at their special 4 days only promotion price at $19.90 each, flora prints (again~) flats from PAYLESS in JCube at (again~) the promotion price at $26.90 and the recent piece of VERY VERY comfy "Grandma" pants from Cottonon at $29.90.

Till the next post...... Bye!

It's been long.... till the Haze arrive..

Realised I've been neglecting this blog of mine for quite some time and so much has happened that I don't know where to pick up from the last post. I shall just write those recent events where my memory can remember for now.

Hmm.. Planning for my trips 2013, meeting up with the complicated gang, The Escape Artist with another complicated gang and of course the recent news hit - Haze.

I remember It was like never ending chain of trips for me last year, so much that It seems like my money has been stolen overnight. The feeling of seeing those hard earned money flying away at one shot is really no good. But the aftermath, the travelling experiences gained has definitely made all these losses worthy.

So this year, after the shopping trip in Bangkok, the endless meeting for systems enhancement, financial year-end closing and the audit, I finally have the mood to plan for more trips!! In short, I've planned for short getaways to Bali, Yangon and Hong Kong!! Can't wait for the soft sandy beaches in Bali, the beautiful pagodas in Yangon and the bursting crowd in Hong Kong! It's going to be my first time trying back-packing in Yangon and I am extremely thrilled!

Enough of the planning, time for some local gatherings and events.

The complicated gang have been active in the group chat all these while, so one random day, we decided to meet up for dinner. To add-on to the good food and laughter for the night, my dear Jan told me a news that I never expected will happen SO quickly!!! OHMYGOSH!! I'm getting those goose bumps instantly and I definitely had a hard time making them relax. Being the OMMA, it's a mixed feeling of getting all happy and paranoid at the same time. So to my dear Jan, I WILL BE WATCHING OVER YOU this period! Don't you shoo me away! =D

My Dearest Twins, Jan after sooo long!

Bought coupons to The Escape Artist, a room escape activity which is finally in Singapore after causing the craze in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. Basically each room has a story of their own and we're suppose to solve the mystery in the story to the room's key within 50 minutes. To our dismay, we failed~ The activity is really interesting and you'll never know how difficult it is until you try it.

Another complicated group with My friends,  Toby's friends and Tina's friend
at the Escape Artist, Bukit Timah Centre on 16th Jun 2013

So finally, it's the crazy haze caused by the forest burning in Sumatra which hits the highest PSI in Singapore since 1997. Within a few days, the PSI has gone from a moderate range to hazardous range at 400+. The burning smell is seriously so strong that only a few minutes outside, it seems like my hair has caught fire. But this haze kind of brought a message to the attention of the always protected Singaporeans that things are definitely not for granted. Unlike the past, we cannot assume that the government will do their part without us making an effort in protecting our own health. And so 'N95' has suddenly increase in it's popularity, more than the kitties sitting in Macdonalds.

One of the kitty range for the week- The Ugly Duckling
I'm definitely not the owner of this kitty and did not queue painfully for it

Think this is the period where FINALLY Singapore can bring in "mask" as our fashion statement
Online and shops are selling those printed washable cloth masks apart from N95 or those surgical ones that I'm wearing

Speaking of these kitties, Macdonalds (and some other fast foods with delivery services) announced that they will stop their delivery services this period for the safety of the delivery men. Well done for thinking of their staff. But hey, shouldn't you think of the public as well? You can temporarily stop your kitty sales this period too. Instead of forsaking those queuing in the middle of the hazy night and morning just to get the kitties. I will definitely be more impressed and appreciative of this kind act. I'll rather enjoy precious time with my Baby J~

It's Father's Day once again and the Sister bought this lovely fruit cake from JCube, that kept Justin drooling over it since

Justin got into a little incident few weeks ago and that incident kept both the parents and B.Y. worried for long! He got over the incident himself without any whines just like superman! And that's why this superman is specially from me to you!  GOOD JOB Justin!

He definitely liked the superman figurine. Always holding on to him wherever he go that day. Have you ever seen superman swim in the water than flying in the sky? This little fella can make him do so! :D

Justin's smile always fill my heart will joy~

#PIL Misses #Jing Long Arts Store #Olympus EPL5

The Oldies were active in WA the other day and reminiscences of the days and memories we had in PIL & ACL keeps flowing back. Life has been different for many of us after we left the Shipping Family and one thing for sure, we indeed enjoyed the years working there with each others' company.

So Baby and I being our always impulsive or rather, mai tu liao (in hokkien) self, decided to make a trip back the memory lane. It was lunch time, and therefore the first place we head to is Amoy Food Centre, indulging in the craving we had ever since we left, Preserved Vegetable Chicken Steam Rice and their appetizing Sour Spicy Soup.

Yums yums.. Satisfaction finally set us in the mood and the energy to continue walking down the memory lane. Many shops had changed and we spotted an interesting bakery that replaces the fruit store. However, the smell of the bakery is not fantastic enough to make us drool over the dough and pastries. Suddenly, I saw Angeline!! One of the warm and friendly secretaries in the Corporate Department that I love chatting with! She was the one who gave me the nickname "cute cute" *shy*.

Baby ❤

We slowly strolled to Chinatown for some Arts & Crafts Shopping and down to Funan for Camera shopping! After playing with Rob Chan's Nikon DSLR the whole day while we were at the Zoo and River Safari the last Sunday, I am in LOVE with the lenses and the beautiful pictures that it can do as compared to Point & Shoot Cameras. Side back is the weight of the body and lens.

So Baby advised me to do some reviews before we go camera shopping and I did. Hybrid Cameras seems to fit what I want now. Something light, yet have the functions like DSLR. Though the functions and outcome might not be that fantastic as a DSLR, but...... it just fits in my current criteria. It will be wasteful if I buy something powerful but don't know how to make use of it right?

Olympus Pen Series is so far the best Hybrid Camera that I heard about. So the filters are done, it's time to window shop for promotions and deals for this series! Came across this store at Funan with BIG poster on the promotions they are having on Olympus Pen Series and wala~ *screams!!!*

After hearing from the store assistant, we went to read up further on the reviews of the 2 models we've streamed down while waiting for Toby He.. That's it! We came to a decision bought this!

New Gadget to the Lim's Family - Olympus EPL5

2nd Test Shot #nofilter - Handmade Accessory from Baby ❤

A little heart pain cos' this cost me $800! But ok lah~ I'm sure it we will serve each other good.

Barely making it... with laughters!

It began badly with almost SGD5,000 of transactions made with my DBS Debit Card unknowingly. Called up the bank and even went there several times to report on the transactions that I didn't make and I'm glad they are investigating even till now. I'm still waiting for about SGD200 to be credited back into my bank account. Out of which are the loss in exchange rate difference, which I shouldn't be bearing since I did not make those transactions in the first place.

Daddy told me security stories about the banks making use of the funds in the customer's savings account to buy shares, etc. That's scary enough to think someone from the bank might have made use of my savings in these ridiculous purchases. The Mom still sarcastically said "You have so much savings meh?" (-.-) Duh~ I wouldn't be worried and making a fuss over these SGD5,000 if I am a million or billionaire. These would be immaterial to me~

Went to the S.E.A Aquarium at The Resorts World at a cheaper rate of only SGD20 per entrance ticket. It will be more enjoyable if there were lesser crowd seriously. We were mesmerized by the giant tank with all the different fishes and beautiful corals (don't know if they are real or fakes ones), and it kind of brought us back to the "Titanic" atmosphere. Shall blog more about it when I sort the pictures from my camera.

The last time I played basketball was like during my Secondary School Days, and seriously, I am NEVER good in this game. I began to enjoy watching basketball because of my Soul mate, who is a serious addict in this sport, and of course, the basketball related comics that I borrowed from him. But just Wednesday, I played basketball!

Never mind the shocking reactions from my soul mate and the useless God-Brother, I got a shock myself too when I agreed to this invitation! As expected, the always prone to accident me, is still the same. I got hit by the flying ball about 2 times during the session. WHY LIKE THAT?!! But it's ok~ cos' I had a great laughter playing with pals in SP! TKH (he got a new nick~) kept making those funny expressions, so comical that I couldn't believe this is the Ah-Boy that we know. And to my surprise, the one always telling me "I'm there to shoot ball only" - Tina Lin, is a good player in basketball! It's a pleasant to the eye looking at both her and Gao Shiong (his real name is Gao Xiang) play. More sessions to come I hope!

Brother Foo has been wanting to bring us to a bar with his favourite band since ages, and we finally set a date for it. After our sinful dinner at The Satay Club, we took a stroll down The Bar at Grand Park Hotel. Awwwww~ Brother Foo looked so disappointed when he was told that the band has changed. But it took us not long to comfort him, and this Brother is so annoying! He insisted me taking a 2nd glass of Long Island and refused to let me select another type of drink! (>.<) Anyway, I gulped the 2 glasses after all, and luckily the alcohol took effect when I reach home. I'm glad I didn't got tipsy on the way home.

Love you, always.

I was weary of you when you joined the Department. You took all efforts to prove yourself to be harmless. We became lunch buddies, and of course friends as time passed. We play prank on each other, teasing each other to the maximum and there were always roaring laughter around our cubicles.

Sweating on your forehead is a significant action whenever we experienced gulps in DMT. A good IT Co-Chair of mine, you always go to the extra mile to help me in all the human labour that I needed. A great team player too, you never fail to cooperate with the sections and never fail to put a smile on people who were feeling low.

Like a doting Brother, I am fortunate to have earned the thoughtful gestures from you. The little treats, the listening ear, the good advices. These will definitely be marked as one of the good memories I had with you.

There must be a lot of unfufiled wishes.... I believe you are watching over your family, your friends and those that love you as much as you do. You will definitely be watching over us on the other land.

Love you, my dearest Brother.

Overdue Photos Upload

Finally a long weekend is here, just in time after the hectic YE Closing.

The closing is still on, followed by the audit, but oh well~ It's kind of the routine work in the accounting line.

Sorted out the long overdue photos in my camera, and realized it's been some time since I indulged myself in some shots and editing. Misses the period totally and hopefully the practises that I've got over the years are still doing good.

Merry Christmas! From Bangkok!!

This mannequin caught my attention. "Simplicity is Beauty" immediately came to my mind.

Termina21 is a real innovative mall. The mall is designed like an airport Terminal, with escalators bringing you to different countries. Even the washrooms are thoughtfully designed according to the theme!

Saw these in one of the chapalang stores in Chatuchak.Suddenly missing my travel mate, Toby He. We're always taking pictures and I seem so left out without her companion.

One of the best thing I enjoy surfing in Facebook is the tagging. It's such a painful thing when I have the photos, but can't upload and of course, can't tag when I can't upload! Arghs! Just hope my HDD won't crash *touch wood* and all the picture memories will be stored in there safely.

Another round of YE Closing

Yups, it's my 3rd time involving in the Financial Year End Closing. And like the past year, all of us are in a sensitive and uptight mood. Anybody (no matter how nice they are) will irritate us more or less, especially when every one of us are fighting against time.

Everyone of us except for one.

And needless to say, it's the same POS that never learns and admit her mistake no matter how many times of "chit-chat sessions" she had with our Director, and the many service excellence courses she has attended, not to say the dialogue sessions with P as well.

The new P is a demanding and authority person who trust the leaders in managing their staff. Yes, 'trust' is the word that he used in the recent town hall meeting, and it's a word full of hidden messages. You cant meddle with the word 'trust' coming out from him. P once said that fingers will be pointing at the RO should the staff performs lowly. With this, it means the RO should understand the staff and assign tasks that he/she think she's capable to excel in.

Save the breath, POS was not enlightened after all.

Few days after the message was once again enforced in our DMT Meeting, she gave me cold shoulders when I asked her assistance in replying an email to a lecturer who "talk nicely to people with status". Nevertheless, I managed to pull through the nasty acts of the lecturer.

Days later, she sent an email to my colleague asking on the status of some closures. Without digesting and understanding the status and the issues my colleague was facing, she added in her sentence "please manage your time properly and I do not want to hear any feedback or see any unnecessary loitering act from you."

This is totally insulting.

It's fine if you don't show any appreciation in the effort, but it's rude to make such comments blindly. You are working and managing adults, not your kids, mind you lazy Piece Of Shit.

Opportunities were given to her to show her involvement in the team, to gain respect from her team, but she wasted it totally. You FOOL!

She is just getting on the nerves of everyone in the team.

Meaty-Fingers

The Sisters were ranting about their officers who are so in common and this surely gave us indigestion. I was feeling supper bloated from the quick dinner, so much that I feel like puking during my Zumba. Never mind the nausea, I feel MUCH better knowing I'm not the only one experiencing stunts from a useless officer.

KCombat is getting more intense and fun. Swinging and punching our fists real hard against the arm pads. My knuckles are feeling a little sore and with the bruises; I feel the tinkling sensation when I wash my hands.

Not sure if it's because of the punching, POS noticed my hands and commented what MEATY palms I've got. What's more ridiculous is that she actually asked if I did a checkup on it, for any illness cos' it look extremely abnormal to look THAT meaty.

Seriously, I was controlling myself then. You can never imagine how much I feel like "practicing" what I've learnt on a real human being.

POS, you will have karma one day. This I believe.

CNY Shopping with the Old Folks

Oh Yeah~ I'm finally having the CNY mood!

Even though CNY has always been "another Public Holiday" to me cos' I don't do relatives' house visiting, I'm feeling the mood surprisingly this year. And it all started off with the SP Lunch visit of my lovely Juniors, TPL & Mdm Lee! Both of them are such a sweetie. Delivering CNY goodies as a token of appreciation for the teachings and when they were helping out as temp staff last year.

Love Letters from Mdm Lee. 1/3 was gone after a walk around the office.

Then it was the CNY shopping with some of the old folks from Bukit Merah that need help. A joint collaboration of 2 different volunteering groups. Had some unpleasant disagreements with Oppa, so unpleasant that I felt seriously awkward when I see him in person. Another level of understanding this friend of mine. Don't want to talk about it since it's over already, and I enjoyed myself during the work after all.

CNY Shopping with Mr Koh. Mission accomplished!

Was shopping around the mall after Jack sent Mr Koh back home, and JUST before we left, free photo-taking with the OWL in GIANT. ❤

At night was CNY shopping with another group of old folks from Bukit Timah; my Parents. 😜

Planned activities to be done during the CNY period and because of all these plans that keep me so looking forward to the festival this year! Wooohooo!
