Received calls lately from my Aunt who have been watching me grow, taking care of me during my primary school days. Although the call was not for me, but somehow, when i hear her voice, i felt sad.. very sad.. She sounded so nice, so gentle, so motherly, so aged...
Time really flies..
I missed the days when i have to wake up as early as 6, preparing to go to her house...
I missed the days when i wack my gor gor's butt as hard as i can, while he's still sleeping soundly...
I missed the days when i send rachel to her kindergarden lessons...
I missed the days when i fight with my gor gor over steamed egg and fish...
I missed the loud voice of my uncle who now sound so fragile...
I missed the journey with my aunt when she will accompany me to school...
I missed when i playfully over-squeezed body cream on the floor, making my gor gor fall...
I missed the days with them...

Cook? No Cook?
This is what i usually hate about cooking for the family.. Well, when my mama is one of the eaters. Whether you cook or no cook, i'll bound to here some nagging from her.
When i DONT cook.....
"You're so lazy..! Come back from work only know how to eat eat eat.. I come back from work still have to cook for you all to eat! Don't even see you cooking for me sincerely once... Blah blah blah.."
When i COOK...
"What did you put inside?! It taste terrible!! Eeeekss! I dont want to eat! Cook myself better!... What weird food you always eat..?? Only weird people eat weird food!.. Blah blah blah..."
Sometimes.. i am FORCED to cook..
And this is what happened today.. early in the morning at 9.30am.. when i just wake up from my lala land..
Mum: Bee ah.. Want cook can come cook le
Me: I never say i wan cook ah
Mum: You yesterday night say you wan cook
Me: Did I? Whatever. (Taking out the frying pan, putting some water to boil.. Planning to cook Korea fried rice cake)
Mum: Use this small pan meh? Use a bigger one la! And must put water to boil meh? No need add oil? You sure ma? Not put chilli first meh? Why put rice cake in first?
Me: No need oil. Use water boil the rice cake first then put chilli. Pan size OK.
Mum: You very stubborn one leh! Tell you use bigger pan you dont want. Later spill on the stove then you know! Give me more trouble only! (while she's nagging.. she's exchanging the pan im using to a wok)
Me: You also stubborn ma.. Keep wanting to use the wok.
Mum: Not i tell you cook one ok? Is you wan to cook. Now give me this attitude.
Me: I told you already. I didnt say i wan to cook. And you dont buy food that nobody know how to cook can? Waste money only.
Mum: You eat before ma... You know the taste.. You should know how to cook ma..
Me: Know the taste =/= know how to cook OK.
After the dish's out for eating...
Mum: Eeeeeee.. the taste so weird one! You sure is taste like this ah?
Me: YES (Me and my papa happily eating)
Mum: I dont want eat le.
Me and Papa: (=.=")
Now who's the spoilt one?

Whoa! Visit the Singapore Flyer today! Erm, it should be yesterday since the time is after midnight now. Whaha! Well, wasnt that cool. Wasnt that high. Wasnt that beautiful. This post shall be a 'less word more pics post'!

My reflection:
For any peeps who wanna experience the ride. I wouldn't encourage you to try it. But i wont force you to avoid it too. $29.50 for 30mins, with a view of only the architetures, sea and constructions, its not very beautiful actually. Maybe... After all the construction's complete, $29.50 for 30mins will be worth it. BUT... You never know whether the price will be the same till then.
For those who are afriad of the heights yet feel like trying the ride, no worries! You wont feel anything when you go up! It's not that high as it appears to be. You wont even know you're up until the ride is ending!

As i was planning my schedule for the coming weeks, gosh! I didnt realised i was practically occupied with assignments (mostly) and outings this month!

As i was planning my schedule for the coming weeks, gosh! I didnt realised i was practically occupied with assignments (mostly) and outings this month!
Was not in a very relaxing mood for the past weeks even though the weather was nice. Easily irritated, easily annoyed. What to do when im down with all these negative emotions? I'll either keep quiet or complain to my friends.
So if you see me not talking to you, in an isolation mode. Dont come near me (at least for the person who irritates me.. Pls go away).
Worst come to worst.. I'll ROAR.
Beware of lions. When they roar, you're dead. DEAD.

More to go!!
Finally can have a few hours of rest before i start on my assignments!
Updates on the past week:
I was on leave to prepare my 2 tests. So i wasnt working for the past, hmm.. 2 weeks? Haha! Those who are working must be envying me right now. But well, i was studying very hard (erm, quite hard i think) though im not working ok? Anyway, im returning to work tomorrow, and i guess i'll be having my performance appraisal too. Wonder what boss will say to me, and most importantly, how much bonus im getting?!!
Was telling Aileen how i felt kinda unfair in work. I guess, working is really more tiring than schooling. With all the seen and unseen competitions going around. You never know what the other's up to.
Ok. Went to Natas fair too. BIG! $3 for all the information and goodie bags, not to forget the balloon i sincerely got for Janice but was deserted by her (*poor balloon), it was worth it! We got a lot of brochures about Taiwan and all the maps etc. Haha! Save our cost of buying maps over there! I think we've spent most of our time over the "Welcome 2 Taiwan" booth, talking with the Taiwan peeps, filling up forms, taking brochures. I can only conclude that Taiwan peeps are really friendly! But, one thing. There's some minor communication problems. Their chinese is really powerful! No Lee-Lah-Lor, no singlish. Seems like we gotta brush up on our mandarin or hokkien. (well, hokkien for me at least).
Sunday, got a very very interesting "police message" from BIL. So funny! And so stupid of him! Haha! But it did lightened my studying mood. Ha!
Received a very sweet sms from BD on Monday, so unlike him! Ha! But it was really sweet of him telling me not to wander around at night alone coz of the terrorist escape news. My neighbourhood is at risk! Stucked in the middle of Bukit Batok and Bukit Timah. Gosh, lucky i seldom have any night-outs. He's a dangerous man!
Anyway, i really gotta start and work extremely hard for my last 4 assignments! Time is tight! Researching time! Bye!
