Night Safari!

Woots! It was Ah Bui aka my sis’s 2’n’ birthday yesterday and we had a tired but fun day at the Night Safari with a whole lot other bunch of "good friends".

The weather was hot, it was real dark but thankfully my night blindness did not bring me much trouble except for the many time squinting my eyes at the animals and carefully holding myself on Ah bui’s bag and hand while walking along the trails.

I didn’t get see my giant turtle as it’s not nocturnal, but I got to see my dear raccoon and had a “close” contact with the ferocious looking leopard! Encountered many gorgeous animals and one of my favourite is the Spotted Hyena.

Walked into the Mangrove Walk and yucks! I hate Bats! Though they doesn’t feed on meat; they eat only fruits (loads of papaya hanging in there), I still got the goosebumps whenever they fly across my head or my shoulder, patting on me.

The ‘Creatures of the Night Show’ was amusing and I truly enjoyed myself more than the many other shows in the Zoo.


Anyways~ Hoped Ah bui enjoyed herself yesterday as much as I do. Happy Birthday!!

It’s time

My patience is running out.

My tolerance level is decreasing.

The lioness in me is starting to hum.

Somebody has finally triggered my irritability button.

I don’t know how long I can endure that person’s petulant attitude.

Danny Gokey is out of the game?!

This is real shocking and disappointing! Though I am not the number 1 supporter for Danny, I have always believed he and Adam Lambert will make it to the finals.

Had this American Idol mini conversation with one of my colleagues on our way to lunch and like me, he thinks that both Adam and Danny definitely deserves much more than Kris Allen in making it to the finals. But well, have to admit that Kris have wider fan bases than the other 2 (in my view point) mainly because of his adorable looks.

I love Kris for his looks too, more than his singing and I am glad that he made it to the top 5 but I never thought of and hoped that he would make it to the finals.

Will Kris Allen the cutie or Adam Lambert the vocally talented win this season’s game? I’m anticipating and I’m definitely rooting for Adam Lambert!

Wedding Carols

The night went off pretty smoothly for my Primary school friend’s wedding dinner except for some haywires of the video’s background music.

She, Mrs. Ng Li Ying Dalphne (no longer Miss Ong~) is gorgeous tonight in her 2 gowns! She looked so happy, fortunate and blessed with her husband. We have not met for about 10 long years and she still look like the first time we knew each other except that she look more mature and down to earth now than the used to be playful kid. =D

Only 5 of us (Aik How, James, Mervin, Yueqi and myself) turned up for her wedding. Nevertheless, we had a great time taking photos, chatting, making fun of each other and updating ourselves. Think the credit goes to James who’s a real entertainer and hate to admit (=x) but he’s quite a gentleman too!

Thanks James for chauffeuring us to the venue and Mervin for sending Aik How and me home. It was nice chatting with the boys in the car, especially wonderful talking to Mervin, who used to be one of the quiet kids in the class.

Anyway, it has been a great night, enough of the talking and picture time!

Peaceful week

Woooo~ what a peaceful or rather, quiet week I had with my buddy Alice on lasik medical leave.

The receptionists were especially caring and thoughtful, keep asking me whether I am hungry, do I need some snacks (they have delicious biscuits), whether I need anybody to help me pack food for lunch, have I taken my breakfast and lunch etc. Thanks! I appreciate that!

It hasn’t come to my mind when I told my colleague/friend about the receptionists’ concerns, that I might look hungry constantly in a lookout for food (indirectly saying something unpleasant you know). Well, thanks ah~ Maybe because I am always seen going in and out the room with an apple that’s why? Hmmm..

Anyway, I am pretty occupied with templates, calls, smses, restaurant guides, DS, e-mail chats, colleagues popping in and out the room with short chats and not to forget helping out with Charlene’s (Yannie’s girlfriend) assignment. Yannie, you owe me lunch!

I’m going to have a fun night attending my Primary school friend’s wedding on this coming Sunday I suppose? It’s been real long (about 10 years) since we last contact and I am really glad that she invited us to her wedding. After all, we have been great pals during our Primary school days always going home together, shouting and screaming on the upper deck of bus 157, and we still exchange letters during our lower secondary school days. At least we are not forgotten!
