I am busy! Very busy!
My peak period is here and my little brain is finally working!
However, this is quite too much to handle.
Feel like my brain’s exploding.
I made a mistake today, but it wasn’t a serious mistake. *phew~
Sorry Ham for rejecting lunch tomorrow. We shall meet one day I promise!
Last weekend was tiring but pleasant.
Coloured and trimmed my hair and the hairdresser attempted to sell me another hair package. -.-
First time visit to the Botanic Garden and there are swans and my cute tortoises over there! So lovely!
Orchard Central was quiet. Most of the shops weren’t open for business.
ION Orchard is HUGE. There are many interesting shops at ION Orchard apart from the many branded boutiques. However, I still prefer malls like Wisma or Far EastPlaza.
Had planned to dine with my lovely friends on a lovely Friday night at Tony Roma’s partly with the intention of enjoying the promotion from the restaurant, but none of us printed out the promotion coupon!
None of us were aware that we have to print the coupon to enjoy the promotion and the guys had a little hoo-haa with the staff.
Never mind, we went ahead to Kenny Rogers instead. The macaroni and cheese side dish is absolutely sinful but fantastic!
Went to Carrefour and played on the children’s keyboard. Whoosh! I can actually play Jingles Bell all thanks to the light on the keyboard! =x
We had a wonderful time at the arcade watching people catching the soft toys. I want my baby sesame street’s big bird! Jan tried about 5 times but still failed in the end. Try again Jan! You can do it!! =D
It's been about 5 years since I last touched the oven.
Being a Food and Nutrition (FnN) student for 3 years, my baking sucks and I pity my family for being the guinea pigs every time I bring food home (coz its that bad that my friends in school wouldn’t want to finish it off in school), especially my dad who's always forced to finish up my lousy products.
This time I took on the challenge and woo hoo! I once again enjoyed the process of baking cookies and I guarantee this time it's definitely better than the ones I baked then.
This is how I got a special price for the magazine at a usual price of S$4.40.
Uncle: Total $5.30 (for CLEO and butter) Me: ??? $5.30? Oooo… Uncle: Yah $5.30. Me: Erm, Uncle, isn’t that (pointing to CLEO) suppose to be $4.40? Uncle: Oh! Yah Yah! I thought you bought 8Days! So, total $7.30. Me: Erm, Uncle, no discount for being honest? Uncle: Iyah.. okay lah.. give you total $5.30. Next time buy CLEO from me ah!
Sun Yan Zi (SYZ) Concert Project at Hark Music was great! Though I'm not a fan of SYZ, I've definitely enjoyed the show at Hark yesterday much more than the one we went previously.
Melv solo performing SYZ's 逆光 was awesome! He was so engrossed in the song when he starts singing and playing on the keyboard, showing some playing skills that I've never seen on any of the videos he showed. Good job 逆光仔!=D
逆光“仔”放光芒!
Oh boy, I always have the urge to improve my awful vocal after visiting Hark Music~
玲妈投拍我! *shy*
Meeting with Mr Sin for a catchup + Movie was pleasant. It was entertaining hearing him and his work experiences with the kids in his schools. Him insisting kids to call him 'uncle' when he obviously don't look like one.
Don't know why friends around me are so modest~ =x
Anyway, I've enjoyed my Saturday all thanks to my friends!! =D
The night started off with meeting the Taipei group (Jan, Lion, Sebas & Me) at The Central Mall for a quick dinner at Kyomomoyama, a Japanese restaurant. It was quite worth the money for a filling set dinner (inclusive of dessert, a scoop of strawberry icecream).
Met the poly gang (Jan, JY, Tong & Ben) afterwards and we headed down to our original agenda for the night at The Heritage Bar for some Singapore Slingers. Guess my expectation for the long waiting try out of this cocktail is too over. The SG Slinger wasn’t as great as the one I’ve sampled at Orchard. Nevertheless, I had a fun time with them until somehow; I parted with the group quite unpleasantly and joined Lili and her 2 BBSS buds for a few more rounds of drinks at 2 other bars.
I enjoyed myself with them, listening to the band at Yello Jello retro bar with the entertainment of Pei Liang and his groovy dance. I think I got a little tipsy after our last bar place, The Pump Room. I can hardly remember what happened on the way home and I think I was talking nonsense to BD when I got home and I only remembered we “bickering” with each other on “You go sleep lah!.. I don’t want!”.
Luckily Lili assured me the next day that I did nothing inappropriate except for calling PL ‘Ah Bui’. Haha! Anyway, PL really slimmed down and yupz, have to agree that I can see the confidence in him now compared to the poly days. Thumbs up!
The feeling of waking up with a headache and a smelly mouth is not very pleasant. I shall stick more to my cranberry juice~
