"Every endless night has a dawning day; Every darkest sky has a shining ray..."
I am on the bus home now and the bus smells funny. Anyways, after working for the whole afternoon on a Good Friday, I met up with my buddy, Soon Lee at JCube, the old Jurong Entertainment Centre.
Open ice-skating place with spectators seats for viewing looks magnificent, but not with the crowd we were with today. The crowd spoiled our mood and plan dining there, so we went to IMM instead. The walk from the train station is especially long with the road block for a hospital construction. Nevertheless, we spit our sorrows at work, joked and teased each other throughout the journey.
Unlike the other friends who sympathized and stood by my behavior and sorrows at work, he provided me no emotional support, but solutions (not logical ones) to tackle these problems. I wasn't unhappy about the lack of emotional support; I was actually happy that I see some light in facing the challenges awaiting ahead for me every day.
Indulging in his Nepal and Egypt photos made me forget the unhappiness in work and I am now looking forward to my Medan trip in June! My camera has been isolated for quite some time and it's finally time to trigger my photography cells!
Shopping with him at Diaso for the first time was enjoying. Like a lady yet not a lady, we never missed any spots in the shop and finally gotten ourselves boxes for his Dental Equipment, mats for my office's discussion table and KK.
He is really a suave person. Without second thoughts, he suggested making a trip down Westmall for my 50L backpack despite the high possibility that the shops might be closed by the time we reach Westmall.
Fortunately, the shops were open and I've KIV-ed 3 backpacks now! Not really a wasted trip as I've learned a lot of information about choosing a good backpack from him! Traveler's indeed a traveler.
Thanks loads for the good night, Buddy!
