Welcome 2010!
Lion wanted to try Wendy’s Fast Food so much since it’s quite near our workplace and it might be the last time he’s ever stepping into LPS, moreover it’s newly opened.
However, food was like normal fast food. Lion and I ordered something like KFC’s Zinger burger and Jan ordered something similar to BK’s grilled chicken burger. We ordered baked potato with broccoli and cheese for side and it doesn’t look as mouth-watering as on the picture. Cheese was not generous enough! We would rather go for KFC’s cheese fries~ overall; it’s certainly not worth the long 30 minutes queue for the pricey set meal.
[Looking back year 2009]
♪ It was definitely a fruitful year befriending so many colleagues whom I’m glad I can get along with pretty well.
♪ Managed to shed some weight with much thanks to Alice who have been very persistent in her exercise regime and this kind of motivated me. =)
♪ In a relationship with Mr Tan Chee Liang Benne finally and I am certainly happy about it.
♪ Friends like my Jie Meis, Ah Pang, Mr Yeo and Mr Sia have been especially supportive lending me their ears whenever I need somebody to hear me rant.
♪ Had fun getting involved in all the birthday plans for my colleagues but it’s seriously tiring~ =x
♪ Had the first family trip to Perth and oh boy! I miss the animals!
[Now… 2010]
Not going to make any resolutions this year as I realised I never really fulfill any of my past resolutions!
I shall just enjoy year 2010 with fun and laughter, peace and joy!
=D
HAPPY 2010!!

Gloomy day. Rainy day.
The days when she was with us; how she protected me whenever I behave mischievously waiting for some spankings from my Mom and many more is unforgettable and will forever be appreciated.
I am lucky to have a loving Sister whom I know will always be there to hear me pour my sorrows whenever I needed her.
I am fortunate to have friends whom I know I can confide things in and provide me with the laughter that I needed for the time being.
I am blessed for being with the one whom I have waited for 10 months before we were together. I am thankful that I have him with me, someone who will care for me.
I’m glad that this wake is nothing depressing like I thought it would be. Rather, their family members were rather optimistic about the event.
Take care Mr Yeo and family.
=)

A lovely Christmas~
I have never spent my Christmas this nice for the past 23 years like this Christmas.
First Christmas with my Dear dear and though it was nothing dramatic and romantic like the Christmas you see on typical love dramas, I’ve enjoyed it.
I love spending time with him doing nothing/activities that seemed boring to many other couples. =)
Received the first Christmas present from him and it’s another member to the family tree! Think he really has to buy me a cage for the family if there’s more to come! =D

Fun Christmas Eve at work!
Lovely Christmas Pressies from My sis, Toby and Fiona =(n.n)=
I have never enjoyed Christmas this much!
Christmas exchange with some of my closer colleagues last Friday was unique wearing Christmas hat along the way from Raffles MRT to Swensens at ION.
Alex and I went down to the Jurong Warehouse for BCP rehearsal with the Division heads as coolies. Walking the long stretch of bumpy road to the canteen under the hot sun back with 19 packets of rice is definitely tiring! And we weren’t even appreciated for our hard work! -.-
Attended my Poly/Uni friend’s wedding at Fullerton Hotel on the night before Christmas Eve and the food was fantastic! I love the mushroom balls served during the cocktail session especially! It was a pleasant night chatting with Liesl and Elsyne throughout the dinner (With Abeely and Delvin playing on iphone~) and catching some glimpses of my lovely Jan and the bride.
Christmas Eve at work today was a totally relaxing day with simply no mood for any work to be done! Got a very lovely present package from Toby and a gorgeous flower balloon from Lily Kortika delivered by Benne. Also received Ferrero from Fiona and hand-made desserts (carrot cake and jelly) from the mamas. Not to forget the few days ago present from Alex!
Flower balloon from Lily, It was kinda "deformed" and looked like a fan instead of a flower in the middle of the day =x

It’s going to be OVER!
YESH! The worst is finally over!
With a few touching up here and there, I can finally scream out loud “Budget 2010 is over!!”
I can finally focus on the other stuff I’ve been putting on hold for this period like uploading the pictures taken on my Perth Trip and many more!!
Tomorrow’s another long day running errands and attending Jas’s wedding!
But… It’ll soon be Christmas and I’m really looking forward to spending this Christmas with my dear~ ♥
P.S. Elaine baby’s pineapple tarts are simply yummy! Small, cute, appetizing and totally addictive! *ermmm, I’m being a little exaggerating here~ =x

Moody.Emotional.Stressed
Though this kind of work life will not happen on every other working day and will only happen on peak periods for probably a few weeks to a month, it is not healthy.
This is bad. It’s affecting my usual self.
Together with my emotional and sensitive character, every little happening appears to be so negative to me.
I can’t help but keep dwelling in the depressing side of me.
I need a shoulder for me to cry on. I need comfort.
A piece of poem I fell in love with during my Perth trip

[David Osborne] A Time For Us
A time for us, some day there'll be
When chains are torn by courage born of a love that's free
A time when dreams so long denied can flourish
As we unveil the love we now must hide
A time for us, at last to see
A life worthwhile for you and me
And with our love, through tears and thorns
We will endure as we pass surely through every storm
A time for us, some day there'll be a new world
A world of shining hope for you and me
For you and me
And with our love, through tears and thorns
We will endure as we pass surely through every storm
A time for us, some day there'll be a new world
A world of shining hope for you and me
A world of shining hope for you and me

Backie!!!!!
Okay, the acknowledgements first~
Thank you Uncle Dave firstly for waking so early, sending the family to the airport in such posh coach car. Next, have to thank my dear B for "accompanying" me until I walked in the departure hall. Have to also thank Dominick, our 6 days tour guide/coach driver throughout the trip and Steve for the Pinnacles tour on day 5.
I’m gonna summarize the happenings/itinerary of the 6D5N Perth trip now~
Day 1 (01/12/09): Set off at 5:30am to the airport on Uncle Dave’s coach and departed Singapore at about 9:30am, met the other family who’s on the tour with us, reached Perth at around 2:30pm and was greeted by our tour guide, Dominick, checked in Citigate Hotel and went for dinner at fast food place near our Hotel.
Day 2 (02/12/09): Breakfast buffet (like added variety of Mac’s big breakfast set~) in the Hotel, set off at 7:45am for Caversham Wildlife Park (the Koalas, Kangaroos, Wombat, Dingo etc were so adorable!); Wine tasting at Houghton Winery (the white wine is so sweet!), Margaret River chocolate company (bought my chocolates and cookies over there~) and headed for lunch at Valley View Garden Café & Restaurant (had salads, chicken, fish and B’s favourite cheesecake~ =x).
Set off for our 1 night farm stay at Springhill Farm. Rode on behind the truck and went fishing for yabbies, fed the sheep and goats, went star gazing while sipping on the sweet white wine BIL bought in the chilling breeze and I saw a planet! Also toured around the farm, there’s roosters, cows and many hor sins~
The 3 meals over there were delicious! With honey glazed chicken, fried fillets, oven baked chicken, pastas, etc and once again my B’s favourite cheesecake (lemon flavoured) and RICE!!
Day 3 (03/12/09): Visit Raeburn Fruit Orchard (that’s where I got the recommended nectarines and chilli sauce for B’s family). Dinner out at Valentino (Italian food) near Perth station and CBG, BIL and me went out for a train ride from Perth Station to Fremantle in the dangerous night (claimed by the tour guide). Encountered a black man with ferocious eyes locked in the security room at the Bus interchange beside the station.
(Went back Hotel and slipped in the bath tub~ -.-")
Day 4 (04/12/09): Kings Park (Botanic Garden) first, Lotterywest Federation Walkway, Northbridge, the Perth Mint and watched the gold pouring demonstration (bought some Perth Mint coins and BIL bought a golden "pi sai" -.-"), the Lake Monger (lovely swans, seagulls, pigeons and ducks!) and Cottesloe beach next.
Continued the tour to Fremantle, visited the Fisherman’s Harbour and headed for our buffet lunch at the Esplanade Fremantle Hotel (more cheesecakes! =x). Visited the Old Round House (Perth’s first Shopped 4 rooms prison), and was brought to cheap markets for some souvenirs shopping (I felt nausea from the rides and vomited when we stopped at one of the shopping malls~).
Was brought to Habour Town Factory Outlet (I LS-ed there~) and was feeling damn uncomfortable that I cried uncontrollably at one of the Gift shops (bought 2 soft toys to console myself~).
Proceeded to Jade Chinese Seafood Restaurant for dinner (the rice buckle is BIG!), and went to Woolworth for some shopping before we end the night.
Day 5 (05/12/09): Whole day Pinnacles Tour; went back to Caversham Wildlife before heading towards The Pinnacles desert and Nambung National Park. Had snacks every now and then when Steve stopped to pump and/or deflate the tyres. Tried on sand boarding at Lacelin and it was definitely a good experience! Dinner’s at Matsuri Japanese Restaurant and ended our day.
Day 6 (06/12/09): Another day time train ride experience to Kenwick, checked-out our Hotel room and went over to Habour Town Factory Outlet again (we went in the early morning but the mall was still closed~) for some last minute shopping.
Met Dominick at 12:45pm and we’re on the journey back to Singapore!!
Lastly the Overview~
The trip was another different experience of my little travelling portfolio, except for some of the unpleasant health-related occurrence I experienced and the inconsiderate, insensitive and self-centered family that went on the tour with us.
- The End -

Somewhere out there,
Beneath the pale moonlight,
Someone's thinking of me,
And loving me tonight.
Somewhere out there,
Someone's saying a prayer,
That we'll find one another,
In that big somewhere out there.
And even though I know how very far apart we are,
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star,
And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby,
It helps to think we're sleeping underneath the same big sky!
Somewhere out there,
If love can see us through,
Then we'll be together,
Somewhere out there,
Out where dreams,
Come true

Perth in a few more hours~
It’s a mixed feeling that I’m having.
Not as excited as my previous Hong Kong and Taipei trip…
Listening to one of the Korean songs that I love very much, I can't help but ~~~ ed.
I’m gonna miss my B a lot…………….
