Early shopping at Orchard road on a Sunday morning is fabulous! No squeezing with the crowds, no queuing for fitting rooms and cashiers, no fighting with the traffic, etc.
(Realised I’ve been spending too much on apparels these few days. About $220 on 1 casual dress for $60, 1 top for $40, 1 shorts for $40 and 1 trench coat for $80 in just 3 days! When the mood for shopping comes, you can’t just control it.)
My first time into LV at ION and I had this sensational feeling when the security guard opened the door and greeted you with politeness. Could it be our dressing? Could it be Lili’s LV bag? Could it be Lili’s “air”?
Made our way to Marriott for “Uncle” Edward’s wedding lunch and it’s so good to see Ham and Rikesh! Brings back fond memories of our Polytechnic days when we teased each other and the many irritating cold jokes and actions they always do.
As what “Uncle” said to treat his wedding as a gathering, it was really quite a gathering. We don’t usually see the guys, and surprisingly, we still have the common connection we used to have, at least for Rikesh and me (the Shit and Pig “pair”). Haha!
It’s nice to see that while retaining the childhood in them, they are moving on to the next phase in their life, working. 2.5 years in NTU and they are finally graduating in the coming year!! So happy for them!
The dishes served at the banquet was SO heavenly delicious (prawn dishes, Ling Zhi Mushrooms, abalone and double-boiled sharks fin soup, etc) that our stomach almost burst after the last course – Haagen Dazs Mini Ice Cream!!
I love the prawns, Ling Zhi mushrooms and Mango Pudding especially!!
Jan and I love desserts, so much that even though we kept saying we’re full, we still stuff as much sweetness in our “2nd” stomach as we can.
And that’s to my facebook wall “Xundi Lin feels like her dress is exploding!”
