LSD: My socks got hole sia!
TKH: My nose got 2 holes sia
And me being one who can laugh at the slightest bit of joke couldn't stop laughing and for that instant, I totally understand what "LSHMBB" that Sinnee always say stands for.
"Laughing So Hard My Belly is Bouncing
My gosh!! Such fun loving colleagues I befriend with in the Campus. My only factor that keeps me in the School.
LOVE Them Loads!

Daddy's Stories
1972.National Day.Sunday.2nd Day on the 7th Month Lunar Calendar
Daddy used to accompany Grandma to the wet market for groceries shopping every Sunday without fail. 1972's National Day was the 2nd day on the Lunar Calendar and it was on a Sunday, and as usual, Daddy woke up early and saw Grandma already up, washing herself, preparing for the trip.
After 30 minutes and Grandma has not gone out of the house, Daddy went back the house terrified to see Grandma lying on the floor unconscious. Grandma passed away the following day....
1958.Peaceful Day
Grandpa was a very hardworking person and never fails to prepare for business even when he was given opportunities to rest. The family owned a cotton and cloth business around the kumpung neighbourhood then, selling handmade cloth to the Malays.
The family slept on the top of the shop and the kitchen was at the ground floor. One day, Grandpa was resting in the shop when nobody was at home. Everyone went home gradually but Grandpa never woke up.....
Family.Business.Entertainment.Fun
TRUST was the word the the family believes in the business operations. Grandpa never collects money when he went selling around the neighbourhood. He trust that they will one day, come back to his shop with the monies and they did eventually.
Siblings will get together and pack the cotton wools in 500g each for sale. It was though packing while in tears due to the dust of the cotton. But they had great laughter in the process. Simple and fun-loving family bonding, they called it.
In the past, the family was the only family around the neighbourhood who had television. Television was in black and white and they only had 2hrs of screening time per set. It was operated in normal battery (with higher voltage) then. They always had a fun time with the neighbourhood who flocked to their house for entertainment.
Present.Now
I now understand why Daddy love reminiscing about the past. He always feel that out family is lacking in a lot of ways and we never had the fun and loving family bond he grew up in. We are individual and intolerable over the most trival issue.
The family story that Daddy said explains all about his mild character. I am glad that my Daddy grew up in such loving family and I am happy that I'm able to hear these stories that I never knew from him.

FOCUS DENISE LIM!
SHIT!!! I should be packing my bag but instead I'm looking at his facebook?! WHY?! DIE!!!
(Pulling myself back from the taboo zone)
********
Getting angry over Mai Oppa is no fun at all. So much as I want to ignore his messages, those flowery emoticons kept popping out and I'm seriously... lousy. Giving in to him that easily!!?! Just hope that the next time he can give smarter excuses for rejecting meetings. NO "lazy" as an excuse!!
Had my first 2012 Birthday celebration with my dearest Toby He & our Ipoh friend, Vince at a cool vintage cafe (Carpenter & Cook) nearby my place, helping a mother look after his son at a random bus stop and enjoying a very *duh* movie recommended by Ms He~ Love them both!
Sunday was fun day out at the Karaoke and Gardens By The Bay with my Piggies Juniors. Singing our lungs out at Maroon 5's Move Like Jagger and the "Puts" at 2PM's Put Your Hands Up.
Soon the long awaiting (erm, not that long from my previous trip) Penang Trip is coming! My first time celebrating National Day outside of Singapore!! So exciting!! The trip should be fun with my dear Jan and Koe Koe! ^^

Trying...
Trying to enjoy my life these days, seriously..
There have been times where I really think life shouldn't be that way, no matter how impossible you think it can be in your own way. I always have the urge to tell friends who bored them down with the piles of uncleared stuffs (aherm, that includes myself) "Get a Life!"
So.... I have been for the past 2 weeks...
- Cleared my "desk"drobe (re-organising my workstation)
- Going for gatherings (the poly and brothers gathering)
- Logging in to MSN during working hours (finally after SO long)
- Got rid of my purplish pink specs! Woosh!
Definitely there's more to come like the coming photography activity at the other part of Singapore with Lulu and gang! And of course my new dance (street jazz) class at Orchard.
*************
I was back Ngee Ann Poly for a sharing session recently and my gosh! The campus has changed greatly! No more Canteen 3 (*sobs* where's the yummy butter rice~), School of BA changed completely, new "dress" for School of the Film, Arts and Studies, new central Makan Place (the biggest foodcourt in campus), Air-conditioned Canteen 2 and the revamp of the Sports Complex!
Our discussion after the sharing session ended at around 5.45pm, pointless to travel back to office (yesh!) so we part our ways from the Campus. It's been long since I took a walk through the Staff Apartments back home and the interesting memories came back as I passed by the Sports Complex.
The days where my belly button got hit in my initial attendance at Squash's practices, that one unforgettable time when I got hit by a basket ball at the half BBall court while waiting for BD, and the time where I felt so hurt by Toshio's (a guy I had a crush on back then) disappointment in his 2.4km NAPFA... Blahs~
So nice to be back Campus!!!

"Fevers" after the Holidays
Holiday to Medan, Ipoh and followed by Kuala Lumpur is a good break from the reality and how I wish the travel journey can continue for long...
Few months ago, my partner asked for a transfer to a new setup centre and this was approved with lots of regrets. The overloaded things that my partner do was emphasised at every opportunities that she have with the Director but the concerns were never taken into serious consideration and not to even say, plans for improvement. Thus, my partner was smart enough to grab when opportunity came along. For this, her workload was finally taken into consideration and was successfully segregated out to the respective sections responsible. Everything came too late.. If only they have planned with execution earlier, things will definitely improve. Which is why the sayings, "regrets comes when it's too late".
I have been going for meetings very lately and this is really draining. No contributions you can say in my roles at meetings, but seriously, what is there to contribute when you are treated as an amateur and when your idea came out of your mouth too late. Slow in digesting information I admit, but to sit in a LONG discussion beating around the bush and with noise pollution, at times, it's really not effective to have such meetings.
Looking at the datelines that I have on my list, and the tons of job that I have to take over my partner, I just feel like I'm losing myself. Does anybody know and cares about what I am seriously doing? It may seem no value add to the section with my "Finance Officer" title, but the operational work is definitely in a time-consuming manner that you can never imagine. So much for "that's why people say employing FO is of no difference as employing a Mso". It's really disheartening when you are indirectly termed as "brainless" just because the method you took is not effective.
I was given this title, I did not asked for this title.
