Budget Screamz~!

BUDGET!!! BUDGET!!! BUDGET!!

That's what Zandra screamed about at lunch today. Feel like screaming with her too!! Hahaha!!

Im kinda traumatised with the word "Budget". Really. And somehow, ive been known as the Budget girl. Haha! Called Linda today for some vessels queries. When i said "Hallo Linda, this is Denise ah".. She was like "Denise?".. "Orh.. The budget girl ah?".. My immediate reaction was "err.. yah.. the budget girl". Hahaha!

Now.. it seems like everything is in a mess. Ive been pushing the respective departments for their projections and budget but they've been delaying their submissions. There are certain days when im super idle, waiting. And there are certain days when BOOM! all the files are sent and i gotta rush like hell.

But somehow.. I can feel their relief when they submit their things. Haha! Its like "oh yeah~ finally done with this thing.. finally no more "nags" from the budgeting people." Hahaha! I can really feel it especially when Grace told me she were scratching her head with the budget even when she's on leave.

So... Well done all!! Let's work hand in hand and ensure smooth success of the budget 2009! HAhah!

Year Book

Browsed through Law's NS year book. Well well, i must admit that while looking at the pics..stories, grumbles or complains that Ben Dan told me many times flashed through my mind.

Somehow, i can more or less feel the hardship they went through. And I'm really happy that most of my NS friends have passed through their NS days with no major disabilities.

Spotted 4 Pics of Ben Dan in the year book and 2 of Law. Haha.. Looking at Ben Dan..Gosh! He looked totally different in the year book and the real him! Comparing his pics with the ones i have in our sec sch class photos...I have to tell Mr Yeo that "Hallo~ Who say the girls in our class are the only ones who have changed?!?!"

I started to wonder.. Is the person in the year book the one who have been chatting with me for decades or am i chatting with another person?

Ben Dan looked so man lor!! Whahaha! I cannot imagine his 'man-ly' image with the 'whinny' tone of his. Whahah! =X

Anyway.. yar.. He's still a Ben Dan to me. Full stop. Enough said.

2 whole days of SFP. It was boring. Absolutely boring. Ive nvr coloured that many letters in my life (thanks to lili who somehow influenced me in gor-ing letters in my notes ever since poly...*Awww.. i miss schooling with her~) and ive nvr drawn so many non-artistic pics in my life.

But i muz thank PIL for having this programme still. It reminded me of my schooling days, sleeping throughout some of the lectures (especially in my uni days, where there's only theory.. theory.. and MORE theories..) =.=

Im Cycling~!!

Wheee~~!! Omma Lim is finally cycling!! All thanks to the nice Melvin who willingly offered to double bike me despite of the injury on his palms. The experience of cycling is awesome! I like the feeling of the wind beating on your face when you cycle. And the times when there's slight bumps here and there. Overall.. I think im quite cooperative throughout the ride? Haha! Peddaling harder when he told me to at times when we will be going up hill, and peddaling faster when he told me to when we felt some rain drops.



Thanks all for fulfiling my dream of having the chance to feel some "cycling" experience!!

Melv & Yannie

Went partyworld after that.

Melv's vocal is POWERFUL. And i mean real nice and strong. He definitely got the singer qualities. All of the songs that he sang were absolutely soothing to the ears, not a single notes off-tuned and i must praise him for "touching me" when he sang Yoga's 那首歌.

Yannie is damned hilarious when he sang one english song that even Alice is ??? of. Hahah!! Think its some oldies or what. Hahah! But the melody and the lyrics is super funny!! And Yannie's expression-less expression when he sang adds up to the hilarious limit!!

Alice leh~~ Whahaha!!! She should really be singing on every 7th month on the lunar calendar. Hahaha! Dont get me wronged here. Alice's singing is clear and loud. But the feel is like listening to those ge-tais especially after she sang the hokkien song. Whahah!!!

What a day really. Hahah!

Threatened

Slept at 5am++ ystd night. Shacked! Was chatting online and subsequently on the phone until 5am++. Another level up! Gosh.. sometimes i really wonder, whether there's any legal job like phone or virtual chatting and where you can earn a fortune by purely listening. Hahaha!

Woke up and the 1st thing that came to my head is - Shit.. Gotta face the OOOhhh guy on Mon again. Kept thinking about the "threaten" he gave on friday. Indirectly saying that if i continue to keep quiet, not asking him questions, he'll sack me like what he did to one of my predecessors.

Well.. He asked me on fri whether 'I understand everything' or 'I am not interested', i gave him a "im in the middle of both" answer. He was like "Cannot lar~! There's no middle answer.". What?!?! Its true that i dont understand everything and I am still in the progress of building my interest in the industry (which should take a long~ time) what. Lame lor..

I was thinking.. there are pros and cons if he sacked me. Pros is that i wont have to face him and his Ooohhs ever and i wont have to rack my brain thinking whether im cut out for this job. Cons is.. It will leave a black mark on my resume - I did not leave willingly. But most importantly...

I WILL MISS THE NICE COLLEAGUES IVE MET THERE!! and I WILL MISS THE FUN & LAUGHTER (campus-like life) THERE!!

Big Walk 2008

WHY?!?! Why muz i make myself suffer on a beautiful sunday waking up at 5+ going to 6am, reaching suntec at around 7am, walking 5km (i think its 10km!) under the hot sun and walking on muddy muddy grounds (thanks to sat night's rain)??

I ended up getting 2 goodie bags with some very not attractive goodies in it, and some peeling sunburnt. (.=") Where is the chilli sauce that they said will be in our goodie bags? Where is my chilli sauce~~~??!?!?!

Yesterday was also giving-money-to-parents day. Not a very pleasant appreciation from them. Not a very pleasant event to end my tiring night too.

Woke up with an ultimate sian mood.
Alice is on MC. Nobody to lunch with me. Nvm.. I shall da bao back.
But.. When lunch time is up.. No drive to da bao.. No mood to eat leh..
Great.. Ive got biscuits in my drawer - 1 packet that consist of 3 slices of hi-fibre crackers.
That is my lunch. Im eating for the sake of eating.
No good i know..
