Came across an article on MyPaper and I am sadden to see this one page article on it. I’ve received newsletters from The Animals Asia Foundation about the recent increase in the gruesome abuse of stray dogs in China and its now on the local papers, with more serious cases reported.

Approximately 34,000 dogs were abused and killed in only 1 month. And the ways they abuse the poor dogs are damn inhuman, targeting the animal with sticks, swinging and throwing the animal on the road until they finally drop dead. They even buried the animals alive.All these done just because thousands of people in China were bitten and some even died by dogs with rabies. Even those household dogs that were vaccine aren’t spared. They were killed in front of the owners in the same or even more dreadful manner.
The merciless and self-centered China people were even praised in the country, winning applauds from their citizens.
Why didn’t they kill their own citizens when bird flu cases etc were spread dangerously in their country then?
"Dogs man's best friend"? Definitely does NOT apply in China.
