1 Day Legoland Tour

Yawns! The girls overnight at my place and we set-off to our trip to Legoland at 0615 am!

Jams at the causeway is not unusual on a Saturday and we made use of this to recoup our energy before we go excited at the amusement park. The coach stopped at Heng's Heng's Kopitiam for breakfast and mygosh! signature dishes in Malaysia can be found there. Like the 芽菜鸡 from Ipoh, 猪肠粉 from KL and 炒果条 from Penang. We had a very satisfying breakfast and immediately set off for Legoland!

It was crowded with people already at around 10 am and we quickly scanned through the map and rushed for the first ride that we saw, Project X coaster. It was nothing compared to the Mummy's ride in USS seriously. The speedy turns only made you giddy, less the thrills. We went for the 2nd ride, Knight's Feast which many said is the most exciting ride among all. However, it turned out a disappointment for it's faulty track.

We queued like about 30 mins and announcements that they have experienced faulty tracks with the ride were made. We were hoping that it will be resolved soon, but the queue was not moving after 30 mins. And so, we decided to give up and walked around the park for more interesting rides.

The park is really small, not even 10 mins, we finished walking and scanning through the park and decided on our final ride that made us all soaking wet, Dino Island. It's something similar to the slide we have at Haw Par Villa many years ago.

We didn't want to go home empty handed and so we tried our luck at the mini game booths trying to win a big toy home. But, we failed. And we decided to spend our ringgit on souvenirs in their souvenirs shop. Got myself a Lego Dragon Key chain and a 5 & 7 Series Lego figurine.

How can we miss taking pictures with LegoMan?!

Meeting time was 0345 pm for a tour around a Chocolate Factory in JB. Nothing much there, so we headed for shopping at AEON (f.k.a. JUSCO). We were given only an hour to shop around the mall, and we spent that hour in COTTON ON. PHAIL to the max! But we went back satisfied! Got myself a beautiful top and dress, and it cost only RM50 which is like around SGD20?!?!

The day ended with a nice restaurant dinner in JB and *sinful* supper at Newton Food Centre when we reach Singapore.
