P.O.S

A new nickname for the useless partner of mine. I can seriously never force myself to see and respect her as my reporting officer. She simply "enhance" the definition of "POS" each day.

First encounter of the day...

The irresponsible temp staff that was supposed to report work end of the month replied my email, rejecting the offer as he have found himself a full time position offer. Well, can't blame him for taking in this offer, but surely he must have the basic courtesy to inform the HR right? Never mind him, I told POS on this news and she told me to wait for HR 's notice before we source for the replacement. YOU KIDDING ME?! She is the one idling everyday, rushing my poor colleague for the status of the 107 trips' closing reports that she have to check, yet she does not see the urgency and importance of having an extra helper for the peak period?!

My rebellious attitude is striking and I ignored her instructions and went to inform HR on this news. HR told me she is left with 1 temp staff still thinking whether or not to submit his resume. See what will happen if I had "obeyed" her instructions? The only remaining temp helper will be gone!

Second encounter of the day...

An email on PETS enhancement specs was sent out by our IT colleague to her for comments in Dec 2012 and he waited so long for her reply till he asked me if she have forwarded it to me for my follow-up instead, out of curiosity. Well, she didn't until the 3rd reminder from the IT colleague today who pressed on his final note for a reply by this Wednesday. So she forwarded me the email telling me to reply on the specifications by tomorrow morning. Real POS!

She is fortunate that I've been following on this project way before she was here; not much time I'll have to take to digest these enhancements.

Third encounter of the day...

A circular that was only disseminated to the SPM suddenly appeared from no-where and we realized we've been approving and processing payments wrongly. The staff came to inform this POS and she lazily told her to scan the document and she'll inform the AP Team.

Isn't she experienced enough to work with her brains? Isn't she curious to know the background and weigh the implications on this non-compliance? And isn't she not concerned for the team if people challenges us when we start rejecting claims because of this overlooked from the past that we're trying to rectify now?

I'm seriously disappointed in her attitude and behavior as a working partner. It'll be better if she had continue working as a home-maker, taking care of her 2 precious children.

And if you're (readers) are wondering what does P.O.S stands for? It simply means Piece Of Shit.
