Running 5km after a sleepless night is definitely not advisable! Luckily I was still able to finish the race and walk out of the muddy center field.

Treated ourselves to some mouth-watering Japanese meal, putting back the calories we shed within hours. *heh.

Inspiring turtle story from Lili:

One day, a lady saw a sea turtle crawling up to the shore. Seeing this, she carried the sea turtle on her truck with the intention of sending the turtle back to the sea.

A man came and asked her why she did so, she exclaimed, “The turtle need to get back to the sea, she is in pain.”

“No!” shouted the man.

“The turtle had spent a lot effort swimming to the shore, just to lay her eggs. And now her effort had gone to waste instantly without even doing so!”

Moral of the story: Many times, people make decisions that involve another party without valuing the other party’s desire. They probably did it on self interest, assumptions and many more. It is vital to respect and get the answer from the involved party for better communication. Thus, before carrying out any decisions, ask the parties involved, what does he/she want?
