Skipping the VPN Token Training from CIS, I went to Republic Polytechnic for a sharing session on their paperless payment process. This is the first time I've seen a Finance Office paper-less. What amazes me was the fence-less construction in the School. Indeed a designer award construction, the institution looked totally different from the other Polytechnics! They even have an own lake within the campus and this made the stressful work and studying life in campus more peaceful.
Met up with my dear ex-colleagues Sandy and Mei Yee Foo, who are working there now for lunch and ohmy~ Words can't describe how wonderful it was to see them again. *Misses* indeed to their suan-ings and sisterly care for me. =]
However misses I have, we have to learn to accept and let go in all situations in life. I guess this had happened too much ever since my journey here in SP, so much that I am kind of immune to all the movements already. Coming back to the office after a long "break" from office environment only to receive the news that my partner will be transferring to a new centre really startled me.
Mixed feelings I had and is still having now, but glad thing is that she's still intact in campus, and that I know that she's always there to help when I'm in doubt. Just that I have no official reasons to bother her with every thing in our operations. Work aside, I am sad that my wonderful working partner and cubicle mate will be "leaving" the office. No more gossips, screams and laughter in my little corner soon.
Sighs....
